Henry gently took her in his arms and started hugging her.

"She didn't make it!" she said. She cried harder into her hands.

Henry hugged her closer and rocked her back and forth.

[Musade]

Veronica held onto Henry. The rocking back and forth calmed her down some. "They said that I was under too much stress. They said there was nothing that could've been done to save her." she whispered.

"I'm sorry..." Henry said softly and looked at her. He continued to rock her.

"I just..." she started crying again into his shoulder. "We never should've left in the first place!" she cried.

Henry started stroking her hair gently. "It's not your fault. You didn't know," he told her.

"But I feel like it is my fault!" She cried. She pulled away and wiped her eyes. "I feel like I could've saved her if I'd never left."

Henry helped her wipe away her tears. "It's not your fault, Veronica. You're young, How could you have truly known?"

"But I should've known!" She said. "I should've known..." she started crying again and leaned into Henry's shoulder.
