I nod, giving the old man a wary eye. He seems agitated that the boys didn't buy anything from him. I start to leave, going to the staircase we came in on. "We have to go to the nursery. They'll have babies there, and you'll have to train your bondmate. It is very, very hard work. You will need to train your bondmate religiously. They should imprint on you fairly quickly." I explain.

Jake nods slowly, sending one last apologetic look to the man, 'I will buy something from him next time we're here.' He silently promises himself. "Sound's fun, let's go." He says, lacking some of untie usual excitement.

Flint Lockwood
Flint nods to Rose slowly, "Let's get on with it then." He says simply

Rose:
I nod a little sadly, feeling bad. I don't know what for, but I do. I lead them outside and we descent the staircase to the lowest level of the mountain. Below us is the city, stretching out far. We go into another cavern, very similar to the one above. Instead of shops lining the walls, caged built into the stone do. There's a caretaker in each one, either giving out bondmates or tending to them. There's bondmates of all kinds, though they're mostly wolves. The Lestrel Birds can't be kept inside here, given their size. So they're kept outside in an enormous cage. It looks like a bird cage from earth, except more elegant and has actual trees in it. Since we are so close to the East kingdom, we share the birds native to their land. The cage is at the far end of the cavern, and is backlit by the sunlight. I decide we'll get Flint's bondmate first. I say to him, "Walk along the wolf cages, and pause at each one. Once a wolf looks at you and comes over to you, that's the one."

Other?: Bondmate wolf has black fur on the head and lower parts of his leg, the black fur on his head goes back along his back, stopping just before his tail. The rest is white fur. His eyes are very dark, often appearing black, however their actual color is red. His name is Fyhrus

Flint Lockwood
FlintFlins solemnly before slowly starting down the hall. It reminded him if a remarkably caring dog pound, but instead of pity for these wolves, he felt a small flame of respect for the power the pups might have later in their lives. As he comes to the first pair of cells he turns and waits, the first pup he faces turns and hides mischeviousky under it's caretaker, the second growls, which makes Flint smile. "Man, these little fellas really like me." He says. He continues this process until he reaches a cage in the middle of the hall where a larger pup meets his eyes and approaches, it had an unusual color pattern - a mix of gray, white, black and tan, not unlike an Australian Shepherd, with one icy white and one chocolate brown eye - for a wolf "Hey there, bud" Flint saysx as he kneels down and stretches his knuckles out for the small wolf to smell.

Rose:
I watch Flint with a smile. Seeing someone with their bondmate is always a happy sight to me. I motion to the wolf's caretaker, and he opens the door so the pup can get to flint. "He's yours now." I tell him.

Flint looks up at Rose with a small smile before the wolf tackles him, "You're strong, little guy!" He says before picking him up and placing his new bondmate on his shoulder, the pup yips happily at this, "So do they all have unique color patterns here? " He asks Rose before gesturing for them to go outside to let Jake pick his. "And do they have their own names or to we give them their name?" He asks as he looks up at the pup ,"Sorry, I'm from Earth so it may take a while to get anywhere with me." He explains, receiving a lick on the cheek in reply.

Jake smiles at Flint, this was the happiest he'd seen his brother since they were kids, and he honestly never wanted it to stop, but now it is his turn to find a bondmate. He turns to the door and opens it, waiting patiently for Rose to lead them outside.

I begin drawing up designs for the armor the lockwood brothers requested, when the old man from the weapons stand walks over, he glares at me, I look up and ask "wha' ya want?" putting down my designs. Fyhrus walks over, and growls at the old man, I pet him and pull him closer to me, can't have him attacking anyone this early

Rose:
I grin and tell Flint, "you can name him whatever you want. It's your call. And yes. Sometimes they look like normal wolves, and sometimes they look more like earth dogs. They technically aren't Wolves, they are just extremely similar to earth ones." I walk toward Jake, walking outside. The cage is toward the back, and I head toward it with a skip.
