[ Yeah sure thing :] ]
Veda sighed as he scuffed his shoes once more against the pavement of the broken and cracked streets as he ran. He wasn't all too sure of exactly where he was headed, all he knew was that he had to get away from plain sight. Veda had just escaped from his high school lunch grounds, his right-hand knuckles still smudged with a few drops of blood (recently derived from some other teen's nose).
He had sprinted so hard at first while still on school grounds, then as soon as he began to delve into the outskirts of the deeper forests, his legs were going numb. Veda could feel his knees soon to give out under him. Dang... Just a little.. longer! His strides grew longer as he glanced over his shoulder for a moment, noting his brute-like predators were so far behind, they were out of his sight. Just as Veda turned back to his makeshift path, he was seconds from slamming into what looked like a gate. He halted on his very heels, losing his balance and falling on his behind. This gate was almost... familiar to his eyes.
Veda was snapped out of his daze as he directed his gaze back behind him. He heard grudging and harsh voices, drawing in on his location. He scattered to his feet once more, barging through the gate, closing it gently behind him. His weak legs sent him stumbling quickly down the gate's path. He wasn't sure where he was headed and, frankly, he didn't care. It wasn't until the boys' voices faded that he feel to his knees, panting unevenly. However, as soon as he gained his breath, he soon came to realize the scenery he was in. Had this seemed familiar to him as the gate had? , he thought. He sat there for a moment, contemplating what his next step of action would be.
