- Celeste shakily sighed, her breathing sounding ragged. Her small hand clutched her left side that was stained crimson. She removed her hand for a moment as she placed both of her pinkies into her mouth to let out a shrill whistle, then placed it back on her wound. Leaves of many colors were tangled in her white hair, and dirt darkened her complexion. It was clearly visible she had just taken a tumble from the sky. Ignis had been spooked by something unknown to Celeste... It was dark with ominous eyes, flying straight toward them. A small shiver ran down her spine as she thought of the monster. The two of them were half-asleep when the beast was upon them, and Celeste lost her grip on Ignis's reins. It wasn't the first them her bird-brained friend dropped her into a forest. She was thankful that this time she was low to the ground, but the trees were unforgivingーand she still was unsure if Ignis was okay. She was glad the tears in her clothing didn't reveal anything too embarrassing, but that was the least of her worries. Celeste whistled once more, then glanced around. She was in unknown territory, and her companion wasn't responding. She hadn't been paying much attention to the borders, and the possibility of being in another kingdom without Ignis by her side slightly upset her. She noted that she had let out a blood curling scream when she lost her grip, so it was possible that someone nearby could have heard her. She tried to convince herself that it was highly unlikely that someone was aroundーfor she is in the middle of nowhere. At least, she thinks she is.
