Chloe sighed and nodded. "Yes. They noticed he was a human, so they wanted to take him. I noticed and convinced them he was my nephew." She tilted her head then frowned. "Jealous? Really? My boss isn't even cute. He's quite ugly actually. Saying he's cute is an inside joke. Wow... I didn't mean it in a bad way. I meant it in a good way. I better go talk to him." She got up and walked into his room. She uncovered the windows and moved over to him. "I meant the human thing as a compliment. You still have your humanity. I wish I did. Come on. Let's look at some stars!" She gently tugged at him, so he would get up.

He stayed in his spot "I don't deserve them" he mumbled, his voice mufled by his arms "I haven't been as I'm supposed to in the slave point of view... That's what I am, I have to accept that but..." He opened his eyes and looked at her, blushing slightly at her beauty, the starlight reflecting in her eyes "your... I can help but feel like your more then an owner.." He muttered, closing his eyes once more

Rou listened in, a deep frown on his face... Why was it making him so angry that they were so friendly? He grumbled to himself, and sighed... He was a slave, and couldn't be more... But if that was so... Why was he still trying?

" he said "yeah, anywaaays" he turned to the house "make yourself at home, out can go I anywhere, but knock before entering a room, and try to stay on the property.. Also!" He looked back to her "I have something for you" he dug into I his pocket, taking out a simple chain, then reached into the other, taking out a wolf pendant. "When in my care, wear these together. No vampire will question you if you show them this" he said, turning to her.

Maru looked at him, smiling softly as he spoke, nodding her head slightly... She then looked over at the house as he had, and nodded slowly as he had instructed what to do. Afterwards, she watched him as he had dug into his two pockets to pull out a chain, and a wolf pendant. Her eye widened in awe as she looked at the wolf pendent. "T-The pendent is beautiful..." She said softly before looking up at her new master. She nodded before bowing slightly. "I shall do as you ask of me, and do as you instruct... I appreciate your kindness for bringing me to your home, so that I may have a roof over my head... I cannot thank you enough..." She said to him with a kind smile... something usually never shown by Maru.

Chloe looked at him and sighed. "That doesn't matter. If I wanted to punish you, I would've done so myself. We both know that stars mean everything to you. You would have to do something pretty awful for me to take them away." She sighed and shook her head. "You're not just a slave to me, Rou. When I said you were one of the most humans I know, it was a compliment. You still have your humanity, while mine is slipping away." She sat down next to him and looked into his eyes. "You been more than just a slave for a long time and I think I've been more than an owner for the same amount of time." She gently brushed her hand against his cheek and smiled at him. "I know you were jealous of my boss. I think it's really sweet. It's actually kind of funny. My boss is ugly. Calling him a cutie is an inside joke between my co-workers."
