Bane nodded ever so slightly, he wanted her to run away, he would survive, he knew that much

Georgie wasn't sure what was going on, she was frightened

Both Elizabeth and Brent jumped a little at the sound of skin on skin.
Brent smiled, he had to agree with Megan, she was right.

Liz's face grew red. "It wasn't his fault. He didn't know." She tried defending Lance, stepping foreward somewhat hesitantly.

Ondine turned tail and continued running, she felt bad leaving Bane behind but they also had to think about Georgiana now. "Daddy will be okay." She assured Georgie, her words were empty, she shouldn't make promises she couldn't keep.

"Yeah, she's right, it was her fa-"Megan interrupted him with another slap, this one harder than the last one.."It was your fault..And you can't even admit this fact. What a coward.."She muttered.

Elizabeth shook her head, "no really, I am fine. We don't have to beat anybody else up over me." She said quietly, of course it was a lie. She was not 'fine' but she was willing to let everyone else believe that.

(Judging by your new signature you had a bad day at school?)

((No, i have a signature shop. I've got about four orders, so, i gotta work.

"If you're fine, then let me get you some peach tart. The one which was made by Brent.."Megan said, quickly changing her tone as she went back inside.

"Ouch..That hurt.."Lance whined.

"You bet it hurt." Brent laughed, and followed Megan inside. "Will get their plates." He piped cheerfully, gliding to the cupboard.

Liz smiled, "I don't know about you but I want a tart." She said, grabbing Lance's wrist and dragging him inside. "I would be cautious though. It was made by Brent... not a good sign."

"And Brent always cooks poisonous peach tarts? Why you're worrying that much? As long it looks and smells good, eat it.."Lance said simply, as she watched Megan cutting the tarts with her cleaver.. Uhh..That's creepy

Ondine glanced backwards, seeing they had lost the slavers and they were now at the edge of town. Beyond was the forest, beyond the forest was the enemy kingdom. Fortunately Edelivia was not her enemy. In fact, she had a solid persona there. Nobody would suspect a thing. She just had to get a dress. Simple.
