one of the guards caught sight of Ondine and Georgie from the window of the inn "seize them!" he yelled, the shout was carried to guards near them

Ondine took off, running across the thatched roofs with surprising speed. She darent look behind her, as she jumped from house to house the beams beneath her feet shuddered and creaked.
