She wandered down the hall feeling rather melancholy. Her gaze was caught by a young woman who appeared to be leaving one of the guest rooms and grinned at her, hoping that she would be at least a little entertaining.
"Hello there!" Elowyn said with a big friendly grin as she looked at the girl happily.
"I'm Elowyn, are you one of the ambassadors that just arrived?" She asked excitedly with a childish wonder in her eyes

Hanna smiled, and and curtsied to the princess. "It is an honour to make your acquaintance Princess, I am Princess Hanna Gocta of Denmark." she said, inclining her head slightly. "You seem in good spirits, what pleases you so?"

Brent chewed his lip, "I like the blue one, it goes beautifully with your eyes." he said, actually hoping that she would save the white dress for later. What if she says no? he fretted, anxiously putting his hand in his pocket where the coins to buy the ring sat, feeling like they were burning through his trousers.

"So, what are you going to wear? Don't tell me you are going to go with these clothes..I don't want to be the only one who suffers from that dress.."Megan grabbed a sandwich and took a bite of it.

Brent sat down in a chair and thought for a moment, then a small smile crept onto his lips. "I will send Fitzpatrick to my quarters to fetch my dress uniform. Trust me when I say it is the most tight-fitting, itchy, hot, and flashy uniform possible. " he chuckled, remembering his knighting ceremony. He was sweating like a pig high on chocolate that day.

"Great. It would be a pleasure to see you wearing it.."Megan said sarcastically then took another bite of the sandwich.."We're both forced to do things we don't like..but..i'll try to get used to that dress..and try not to fall off a cliff again."

"It is your attitude and not your aptitude that determines your altitude in life." Brent thought aloud, then blushed. "I think we should avoid cliffs altogether, and I should avoid trees. Don't want to break any more ribs." he said, his mouth full of ham.

((It's fine. I was planning at my revenge..But, i'm still very afraid to face that brute.
"Agreed..Now i should find a new job..and...take my revenge on Lance."Megan said, wondering if someone might need her as a cook.

(Good to hear. I got my revenge yesterday on a jerk. *giggles* I punched him. Not very hard though. I didn't want to hurt him too badly. Just wanted to get my point across. And I did.)

Brent bit his lip, his mind straying again to the little bakery in the vented of Eroniel. "Yes... I suppose so. I had better send a boy to get my things now. Thank you for the meal Meg." He said brightly, kissing the top of her head beget waltzing out the door. As soon as he was out he bolted to the blacksmith.

After he placed his order he sent a boy to get his terrible dress clothes.

n the dishes. Her cat kept staring at the dress, closely inspecting every detail of it.

Brent anxiously stuffed the blindingly bright gold ring in his pocket. He paid the blacksmith and went about further preparations, including watching out for Lance. He was nervous, and the warm sun beating down on his neck didn't help.
