I looked at the paw. I closed my eyes, consentrating on the paw. I felt the shadows swirl around me. I touched the tips of my fingers to the fur. When I opened my eyes Ren's paw was still wounded, but almost fully healed.

Ren growled, and began writhing. Once Shayde pulled away, he was breathing raggedly. Please don't ever do that again... a husky voice was projected from Ren's jaws. Wynter looked at him funny. "Ren...?"

I looked at the tiger. I closed my eyes again, scanning his body for the source of pain. "Ren...?" I said, feeling the source of pain in his paw, a strange grip surrounding it. I opened my eyes. "There are shadows inside his paw, they will stay there until they are finished healing, which will be soon." I said, waving my hand over his paw.
