(So the only active characters right now are King Skyler, River, and Nova. There's a lot of rebellion against the king and yesterday River saved him from an assassin. That night they all attended Skylers ball and skylers was sort of flirting with River but she freaked out a little because she has social anxiety. Then Nova, Rivers sister that is a married noblewoman, was flirting with Skyler because she's really ambitious and power hungry. Later there's a fight between Skyler and his Uncle that's trying to overthrow him, which River interrupts. They all go to bed and early in the morning Skyler gets kidnapped which River, who is leaving the palace, sees. She follows the kidnappers and shoots them with her Zappy gun and now she's trying to get him away from the mansion where they were taking him. Sorry, I'm kind of bad at recaps. Hopefully that makes some sense X3))

River
She turned off the gun as soon as she felt the rain started to fall. She ran over to where Skyler crouched on the ground and kneeled beside him. She looked him over for any serious I jury's before hopping back up and pulling him up with her. The girl noticed that he was in shackles and there was no way he could run like that, and she didn't have time to pick the locks. With a sudden fluid gesture she threw the king over her shoulder in a firemans carry. An "Mmph!" Escaped her as she was a bit shocked by the sudden extra weight. Thankfully, working in her shop had made her reasonably strong and while she didn't enjoy carrying the king, it was manageable. She took of running which was actually easier than she had suspected, though she doubted this was an enjoyable experience for Skyler. She darted through alleyways, hoping to throw off any pursuers. She realized where they were and smiled because she knew exactly where they could go. River ran with new gusto as she now had a goal, a safe place in mind.

(Actually, no, the recap was helpful! Thanks! I'm going to have Aidriane get hit by River's zap-gun thingy. Haha)

Aidriane rolled her shoulders, the mechanical wings rotating stiffly, with quiet whirring of the gears. She slid oversized goggles off the top of her head and over her eyes, suiting up for her newest test flight. Most everyone in the company was gone, save for a few of the newbies she'd guilt-tripped into staying later.
"Ms. Hunt, are you absolutely sure you want to test this tonight?" A man shorter and younger than herself helped fasten on her rigging. "In the industrial district?"
"Psh, you have me pegged for a loon? I don't fly over factories. I want to have a good view of the city, not choke on smoke. I'll see you in the morning, kid, and hopefully then you'll have more sense." She said this as she dropped out of an open window and into the night, making a b-line for the 'rich' part of town, where all the mansions and pretty parks were, when, out of nowhere, a blast of what seemed like lightning came from the ground and struck her left wing. Sabotage?
"Oh, blast all! Bloody rich people and their bloody--" She tried to regain control of the glider, but she knew she was crashing.

He found himself unfocused the entire way to where ever they were going and was thankful for the coldness of the rain against his skin hiding the pitiful tears that had leaked out from his eyes as he let the stress get to him for once hating his Rank and Nobility once more and even thinking about making it all end...
" I'm sorry.." He whispered to River as she ran.

River
She practically collapsed on the steps of a building, made sure not to injure the king as she set him down. She reclined against the steps as she gasped for air, exhausted after their escape. Not to mention she still had a hangover. River looked up at the sky and let the cool rain fall onto her flushed skin for a minute. Unfortunately, she didn't have much time for such indulgences right now. She needed to hide Skyler fast. Luckily, there was just a door separating her from the answer to her problems. Her green eyes flashed over to the young man. "Don't be." Was all she said before standing up and knocking on the door behind them.
"Who is it?" Called a mans voice from within.
"River. Now let me in. I need help." She said, but the door was flung open before she even finished. A tall, gangly young man pulled the girl into an embrace. He was still clinging to her when he noticed Skyler on the steps.
"Oh. You brought a friend." He said sounding truly surprised. He quickly let go of River and picked up the king before carrying him inside. River followed close behind and locked the door behind them.

Personality or history: The first born son of the Zales household. Benjamin was originally to be an only child and the sole heir to his parents company. However, when he was young he became ill with a dangerously high fever. After that the boy was never quiet the same, and developed multiple personality disorders. Due to his odd behavior, his father worried he'd never be able to live a normal life and be capable of running the company, which resulted in three younger siblings. When River and Nova were born he was almost never left alone with them as his parents feared what he might do to them. As he got older he began to control himself better and became very close to River. He has a passion for medicine and River and him often work together on inventions. He's usually a very nice guy but his disorders occasionally bubble up. He's extremely protective of his younger siblings and blames himself for what happened to River.

Personality or history: Henry Zales is the youngest child in the Zales family and is to inherit his fathers company. He is very sheltered, and his parents are much more strict with him than they were with the other children. He's rather spoiled and can be a bit Whitney at times. However, he is a very hard worker and fairly clever as well. His favorite activities are reading and fencing, which are what you find him doing most of the time.

Ichiru lost his parents when the secret war started down on earth with whatever took up the land after they left everyday he mourns his loss of them anything even remotely sad makes him start balling but even though most would find it 'ummanly' he doesn't hid his emotions.

He stormed through the lower decks of the Repair shop,
" Aidriane! Aidriane! Where is that girl she was testing out that invention of hers today Did I already miss it?" He asked one of the other workers who was crazy enough to stay out as late as him.
" W-well sir she already left heading out over the rich city."
" And no one went with her?? She could of crashed!" Taking his jacket from the back of his office chair he went out to find his Employee .
" Aidriane!" He called out his heavy British accent ringing through the Rain drenched Streets of the glittering rich city.
Skyler
He looked really out of it not caring if someone was picking him up or not, His stitches from his head wound from the day earlier had came open slightly staining his hair red where it touched and ran down the back of his neck. His red eyes were distant but were covered with a unnerving veil of Insanity slowly cracking his composed shell.

Benjamin
He layed the boy down on a sort of operating table. He noticed the blood and frowned at his little sister.
"River, what on earth did you do to this poor boy?" He asked sounding concerned
"It wasn't me! His stitches from yesterday must have come undone!" She protested. Benjamin just smiled, he had been teasing her. It had always been easy to embaress the little girl.
"Sure they did." He mumbled with a smile as he turned crank that raised the table so that Dkylar was sitting up.
"River darling, please get my tray. It looks like I'll be needing to redie the stitches." He said as he inspected the back of the boys head.
"Down forget the pain killers!" He called.
"That did not go well last time." He mumbled to himself before River rut unread with his medical instruments. He practically forced the painkiller down Skylars the ought before he started cleaning the wound up before fixing up the stitches on his head.

[Anachronism]

Aidriane opened one eye, and immediately regretted it. "Ugh, why is it so bloody...bright...." After being blasted with god-knows-what, she had crash landed into one of the trees in the park, mechanical wings now just a bent frame holding her in the tree from one of it's limbs. No one had came to investigate, so it had been hours since she'd last made contact with Alavari Aviation. They probably thought she was dead or something, and she groaned inwardly.
Her legs dangled down from the foliage, the only visible part of her that wasn't surrounded by leaves. She was facing a street-lamp, and it glared in her eyes. Raising a hand to shield her eyes, she recoiled, feeling a pain in her side. Her ribs were broken.
"Aw, dammit! Curse everything!" She swore, using her other arm to search for the safety knife to cut her loose from her rigging.
She spat a couple more curses, before pausing as her name was called. She quieted down for a moment, dangling from the rig, when she heard a voice call her name.
"Aidriane!" Came a voice from the distance.
"Oi!" She called as loud as she could, holding her side. Her other hand finally reached the belt with her knife on it. She knew she'd probably get into some trouble for this test, but she couldn't stand the waiting.

Ichiru
He pushed his thin rimmed golden glasses higher up his nose as he spotted Aidriane dangling halfway from a tree,
" Hang on!" He yelled up to her reaching into his pocket and pulling out a small contraption activating it Three mechanical spiders sprung from the box and scurried up the tree to free the wires tangling Aidraine he left the main one she she could easily lower her self down without hurting her self worse then she already had.
" I swear next time you do something like this alone at least have someone follow you." He scolded.
Skyler
His eyes quickly glazed over but even the pills he still felt some of it and his shackled hands grasped at the materiel of his shirt as he winced.

[Anachronism]

Aidriane kicked her feet a few times, eventually managing to gain a foothold on one of the lower branches. She winced a little as she lowered herself down the branches, still holding her ribs, not speaking until she was safely on the ground. She toppled over into the brick fencing, standing back up with some effort.
"I would've been fine." She protested, trying to seem level-headed but she looked shaken. This was the first time she'd crashed since her very first flight.
Glancing up at the prototype still hanging in the trees, her eyes narrowed. There was a large hole in one of the wings that had wisps of smoke billowing off it, like it had been set on fire. Like a bullet hole, but bigger.
"I think....I think someone shot at me. Look at the glider." She had scrapes and bruises over her entire body, and her pilot's rig was bloodied and torn.
