The smallest hopeful smile graced her delicate features. For a moment she almost felt bad for the king, though it wasn't as though he would have been able to find someone that truly loved him anyway. It was a consequence of his status, and he could do a lot worse than her.
"Your kindness never ceases to astound me your majesty." She said with a gentle smile. It didn't seemed to register that something seemed a little off about him, she was to caught up in the fact that she was in the homestretch of her original plan. However she did find it a little strange how he would try to be romantic and almost immediately seem embarrassed afterwards. It hardly mattered, she would learn to deal with his strange little quirks. Nova closed the space between them again, her arms draped around his neck and their faces inches apart.
"I think your parents would be proud of you." She said softly

He gave a chuckle raising a hand to rub at the back of his hair as he smiled and his cheeks blushed slightly,
" Don't mention it, I'll always help a friend in need." He heard his watch beep on his wrist and looked slightly worried when he realized that meant he had to go back and open up shop like five minutes ago.
" Since you can't do any test runs for awhile I do have a couple things I need help with in my office, and don't worry it's not paper work, When you feel up to it come stop by ." He told her pushing up his glasses that had fallen slightly on his nose.
" Bye Aidriane." As he turned he gave a slight wave over his head to her retracing his steps back to Alvairia Aviation's

He smiled gently once more and was about to lean in to kiss her again when he heard his top Maid yell out for him,
" Your majesty !!" Her voice bellowed like one of those Opera singers as she turned the corner to find him close to nova which she didn't bat a eye at.
"May I remind you you have many appointments to keep this morning, A meeting with your physiologist, Then your tailor right after, And not to mention since you never looked at any of your potential suitors the night of the ball I arranged for them to meet you this evering." She said with a huff pulling slightly at her gown which had become slightly tight on her larger frame.
" Well you can scratch that last part I already found one." He took Nova's hand confidently.

She was almost startled by the woman's booming voice and quickly spun around to see what was going on. Nova watched the lady intently as she spoke, quietly thankful for the therapy sessions and grimacing upon hearing of the potential suitors. However as soon as she returned her gaze to the king he quickly set her mind to rest. The young woman beamed up at him as he laced his fingers through hers. It almost seemed to good to be true, and Nova believed this feeling was better than any love could bring her.

His maid gave Nova a glance over through her wire rimmed glasses brushing back her graying hair to see her clearly.
" Well at least you made a good choice unlike last time." She muttered the last part.
" Psychologist now, You can visit with your Pretty Lady later Tenshi." She said using the nickname his mother had given him which meant 'Angel' in his Native Japanese Language he knew once she used it she meant business

He blushed slightly and chuckled,
" Fine I'm going...Nova will you be ok?, I really hate to send you back to that man." He said.

She was flattered at first by the old woman's comment but frowned when she realized she had muttered something under her breath. She didn't have much time to think on it however as the maid became more demanding of him. She thought it odd that she seemed to use a nickname and boss him around like that, perhaps she had known him as a young child.
"I'll be fine." She said, putting on a brave face for him
"You just worry about yourself." Nova added. She actually concerned after what he had told her last night.
"When will I be able to see you again?" The young woman asked, staring up at him with addoration

Faiden yawned softly, her blue eyes casting down the street towards the edge. She shook her head softly. "I still don't get how this all works," she murmured to herself. Even if she had lived her for her whole life, or at least as long as she remembered, she couldn't quite grasp how this, floating world, save for a better description, functioned.
