She smiled a little, relieved to hear that he was feeling better. Apprerently his blush was contagious, as she felt her own cheeks warm up a bit in the cool morning air. She couldn't help but laugh a little, despite the awkwardness. She was reminded of the last time he was embarrassed for using some cheesy line. That time she'd been even more embarrassed, as she remembered that he had been complementing her. "Thanks." River replied softly with a playful little smile. Despite her still being rather antisocial and laconic she was beginning to almost enjoy the Kings company.

Soon the shape of the Manor loomed over them and he lowered his hood his tired eyes flashed with a regret of going back.
"I know a secret way in through the garden that way it looks like I was never gone." he untied the cloak from his shoulders and handed it to river
"I can go from here...oh an sorry for making you dance with me yesterday night, you sure did look a lot better then any of my sutors."he averted his eyes from hers an looked up towards the sun rising higher up in the sky making the purple pinks an oranges fade to blue in the sky.

River
"Alright." She said to his plan as she took back the cloak. A strange feeling, maybe regret, seemed to tug at her. This seemed almost like a final goodbye. Rivers eyes darted to the ground. "N-no. It wasn't that I didn't like dancing with you, it's just..." River glanced up, blushing now. "I get nervous when there's a lot of people watching me." She said sounding embarrassed. A small smile tugged at her lips. "And you're sort of an attention magnet." River added, almost in a teasing way. Her eyes flickered over to the sunrise that the King was watching."Its beautiful." She said in admired

Skyler
He found himself looking back at her when she wasn't looking,
" Yah it is beautiful.." He said before feeling guilty that he was thinking about her being pretty knowing that hours earlier he'd been closer with her sister then River would probably ever let him get to her.
" Sorry..I should go." He said quickly as he turned away from her heading down the thick line of bushes looking for the thinner part of them he used as a secret entrance.

River
Her green eyes flickered back over to him. Her smile faded a little and she nodded, "Yeah, you're probably right." She said quietly, staring at the ground again. She looked back up and bit her lip as she watched him go. Was she dissapionted? River couldn't figure out exactly what was bothering her as he walked away. "Hey Skye?" She called after him. Her fingers gripped the cloak in her hands tightly a though were nervous. "Stay safe ok? And if you ever need something, anything...Just go to my brothers house, he'll know where to find me." River blurted out as an awkward sort of farewell.

He waved a goodbye over his head to her bedew looking back
"hey maybe I'll see you around sometime ok?"he said but had to quickly go through the bushes as he heard someone call his name on the other side
"what are you doing out here?" Asked the nurse lady who had been the one to take care of Skye when the man had attacked him yesterday.
"oh just going for a early morning walk." he lied easily ,"though I may of fell."he said gesturing to his tattere and now dirty clothes.
"quite a few times it seems...well come on let's get you inside and changed before the city council meeting starts." she said with a sigh taking him by the arm gently not noticing the scratches around his wrists as she lead him inside but did ignore the wistful look he castes back at the bushes where river would be on the other side.

River
She stood there for longer than she would have liked to admit. Originally she had been waiting to make sure he didn't get attacked yet again. However, she stayed even when the she heard the friendly voice of the nurse and even after the voices had faded. River seemed to startle herself back to reality as she remembered that she didn't want to get caught just hanging around the Royal Gardens. With one final look at the manor she da departed, that strange feeling from before still clinging to her.

Nova
"Now, if you could please hurry that would be much appreciated." Nova said, slightly irritated with the maid that was helping her get dressed that morning. The young wanna had just received word that Lord Chancy was ill and she would be attending the city council in his place. It wouldn't have been that big of a deal of course, but she did need to look presentable if she was going to be in the presence of the king. Not that it was to hard to stand out, after all there wouldn't be many women at the meeting and carat inky none as fair as her. Nova gasped and shot the maid a glare, knowing perfectly well that she had tied the corset like that on purpose.

As he adjusted the gloves on his arms to hide his wrists he entered the council room head held high receiving a few shocked looked from a couple of council members.
((alright I gotta go till Tuesday have to leave the good wifi sadface..))

Nova
She glanced around the council room, practically bored out of her mind despite her pleasent smile. Finally there was a disturbance which could only signify the arrival of the king. Nova sat a little up a little straighter, suddenly alert. Her blue eyes noticed some of the mens obvious suprise and discomfort and narrowed suspiciously. Nova assumed something must have happened that was terribly important. Perhaps something that was supposed to get rid of the king she supposed based on their reactions. Nova was naturally angry, but even more furious that none of these morons had let her in on the plan. Obviously it had gone terribly wrong, but Nova was sure that if she had played apart in it she would have easily avoided any punishment in store. As it was, things seemed to be going just perfectly for her so there was really no need to fuss about not being invited into their little boys club. The beautiful girl shot the King a reassuring smile which was accompanied by a look of concern.

He loOked around the room with a glare before sitting down looking imposing at the head of the table.
"Before I begin this meeting I would like to annouce I've discovered a traitor in our mists." he said glaring right at his uncle who looked just slightly green around the edges.
