Damien looked to the ground and whimpered "I think I know what if means..." He said softly and squeezed his eyes shut "that's why she left maybe..." He said softly "stupid crystal" he cursed

"No it isn't she left because she didn't want to show any real need for anyone." Nine said her voice softening.

Damien just sighed softly "but... It don't make any sense... She loved me... I just... Why would she just leave... She seemed just fine not even an hour before..."

"Because the weird thing about girls, is that we don't seem to know exactly how we feel, so we get all weird and leave. We don't want to feel anything too strong, we're afraid then, we'll lose it all." Nine said and sat on the grass.

Damien just sighed and nodded sadly "oh..." He whispered quietly and lay down in the snow again, wincing as his side was pressed against fresh snow

"I came from a big city, I think it was called Chicago. Then when the apocalypse started I came to the forest." Simon said with a sigh.
