Wynter jumped a little from the sudden pressure, and the gash slowly stopped bleeding.

He kept his hands over his eyes as he was trying not to cry.

Wynter smiled up at Soron. She reached up and moved his hands away from his face.

"Don't strain yourself for me." He said wiping his tears

Wynter's eyes sparkled. "Can I get the food now?" she asked quietly, smiling sheepishly.

"No." He simply replied

"Then can you get them? They're under the tree we were in earlier..."

He sighed and nodded. He walked outside and retrived the food.
