Shay just smiled. "You'll see" he replied. He had good idea to go see Calla. She was a cousin of his and he had worried about her. Then the night he heard the howl he was pretty sure that was her. "You might make a new friend" he said before walking out the door into the bushy clearing of the forest.

I'm going to pretend that Jake and Avery died now. And you dont have to make a male for Calla. I'm going to make Daniel fall in love with her now. ))

Calla sat mournfully into the rain at the entrance of her den. She heard te paw steps of Daniel coming up beside her. He was good and loyal friend and they were both devastated when the hunters had shot down Jake and Avery.

Daniel sat down beside Calla and turned to look at her. "You know it's not your fault." He said, hoping to get her to speak. She hadn't spoken since the second Jake had died. "Those hunters are just to skilled now. There's nothing we could have done." he whispered sadly. He wrapped his tail around Calla to pull her closer. Then he rested his head slightly on hers.

Shay took off and it started to rain. He soon found Calla's scent and followed it. She was closer than he had thought and he soon found her sitting in the entrance to her cave with another male. He growled softly because he was a bit protective of Calla as she was his only surviving cousin.
