She smiled sweetly at him. "Thank you Matthew. That's really sweet." She told him. She wasn't just going to decline his offer, she wanted to be warm anyways. She crawled under the space and laid out the blankets. She gestured for him to come, but not acting too eager. She blushed, realizing it just got weird.

Matthew
He grinned. "Stop blushing, we have clothes on!" He teased her gently, layong next to her and covering them both with the blankets.

Ana's heart skipped a beat. She didn't think his joke was very funny at all. And it didn't help her to be any less embarrassed. But she still laid by him, feeling almost comfortable being pressed against him by now. She focused on evening her heartbeat and calming down. She prayed he wouldn't address it again.

Matthew
He said nothing, feeling very tired. He found that he didn't really mind her pressed up against him, and blushed at the thought. He looked up, wishing he could see the stars and the moon, but the ceiling of the boat prevented him from seeing anything but the wood.

Ana had no trouble falling asleep that night. But the next time she woke up, she saw sunlight peeking through the cracks in the wood. She heard gigging coming from the ship, followed by whispers of her and Matthew's name. The men were looking over the side, they knew where he was. Ana scooted away from him and covered her eyes, groaning quietly to herself. She was so embarrassed.

Matthew
He opened his eyes, slowly getting up. He heard the chuckles and provocative comments and sighed. He climbed up and glared at everyone. "We were just keeping warm." He said, and the conversation died down.

Ana climbed up with Matthew. The men were all red faced from laughing so much. She didn't acknowledge it any more, and she tried to act like it wasn't a big deal to her. She casually walked to the mast and climbed up to the crows nest, looking down over the ship and sea. She leaned her elbows on the edge and sighed.

Matthew
He went up after Ana. "We ship out in about thirty minutes; they're still loading the supplies." He told her.

Ana turned to Matthew, now leaning her back on the railing. "And where will we be going?" She wondered excitedly. "Do they need help?"

Matthew
He shrugged. "I don't know where we're headed, and they're fine. The most we'll probably have to do is sweep, mop, maybe a little cooking, and, of course, fight." He said.
