Lily piled up logs and sticks and took out the lighter she light it up and set flame to the wood, watching it go up in flames. She waited until the flames were taller than her and threw the lighter into the fire and took out the pendant. She held it out in front of her but didn't drop it.

Cole
Cole followed the scent trail out of the school and to the woods. Slipping the pants and shoes off he shifted into his full wolf form. He hesitated at first on the edge of the woods but soon ran forward. He followed the winding scent trail until he came across the whithered up dead bark on a tree. Lily had definitely been through here that was sure. Cole stuck his nose back to the ground and continued following the scent.

Lily sighed and coughed through the thick smoke. She threw the pendant into the flames and stepped back. In seconds the flames shot up, turning black. The snaked towards her and she fell, skidding back as she was surrounded by the flames. She felt a searing pain go through her chest as the mark on her chest burned. She screeched an un-humanly yell and arched her back as the fire got bigger around her.

Cole ran forward until he saw the trees break only to reveal fire. His ears perked up and the fire reflected off his green eyes. He watched frozen as whatever was happening happened. Finally snapping back to reality he yelled Lily's name which came out as a loud bark rather than words.

Lily cried out again and watcher as the fire slowly died. She could see through blurry vision that the pendant was still there, unharmed. She couldn't say the same about herself, though. She had burn marks across her skin and the black mark on her chest beat like another heart. Her breath was shallow and her heart was slow. She rolled over and saw a blurry vision of a red wolf.

Seeing lily laying on the ground burnt and almost lifeless Cole let out a whimper. He bent his ears back and went closer to her. He gently nudged at her cheek with his cold wet nose. "I told you not to go out here alone! I told you but you wouldn't listen!" He said although he knew she wouldn't understand him

Lily closed her eyes, "Go away hellhound!" She growled in an accent that wasn't from this world. She thought she was in hell and groaned, sitting up slowly. She realized she wasn't in hell and looked at Cole, "When did you get here?" She asked.

Cole tilted his head at Lily's words. "That accent...it's so strange..." He said. Knowing she couldn't understand him he shifted into his human wolf mix. That way he was still covered in fur yet she could understand him. "I went to your room and you weren't there so I followed your scent. I saw the fire part..." He said

Lily rubbed her temples and forced her go back into her normal accent, "The accent? It's hell's accent, you come from it you get it and it doesn't go away." She said and then glared at him, "You went into my room!" She said and jumped up and stretched her back out, watching the burns heal.

Cole shrugged slightly "I banged on your door and it opened by itself so I stuck my head in there to see if you were there" he said simply. He watched curiously as the burns healed on her body. He had his own accelerated healing well excluding silver that is. "Wait....what do you mean from hell...?" He asked
