"Doesn't surprise me. This is sorta what happened earlier" he said with a sigh returning his gaze to his hands which laid stretched across the table. "I think it enjoys it. It once told me its name was Marcus. Whether that's true I don't know" Cole muttered.

(Basically Cole and Lily have been talking)

Lily nodded, "I didn't know it had a name. I thought it was just a thing." She said thinking. She sat back in her chair and looked at Cole, "It doesn't seem to be taking full control yet. It just seems to be doing little things, probably trying to turn you crazy." She added.

"I don't know what it's doing or even what it wants. You know it once showed me what it looked like or rather what it wants me to see. It was a tall slender man with a nose resembling that of a birds beak. He had long black hair and vibrant red eyes. I could see the hatred in them as I saw his eyes. He wore dark robes adorned with gold and rubies. He carried a staff with a golden wolf carved into it. It also seemed that darkness or wisps rather surrounded him seeping from his outline. The worst part was.....he had no heart...there was an empty hole..." He said whispering the last part. A chill crept up his spine at the thought and Cole couldn't help but shiver at the memory.

Lily noticed him shiver but didn't say anything about it, "Why do you think he would show you an image of himself?" She asked. It was more of a question she was asking herself in her mind and it just came out of her mouth instead.

With a shrug Cole shook his head. "Your guess is as good as mine" he said. He picked up his fork and began absently poking at the food.

(I'm more of a person that'll say it in my head and think I told everyone else )

Lily nodded slightly and stood up, She really wanted to get outside for awhile, "I'm going back to my room for a little bit." She lied and walked towards the exit. She quickly went to her room and grabbed a lighter and a hoodie. She locked the door behind her and ran outside. She was planning on making a small fire in the woods.

"If you say so" Cole muttered. He watched as she walked out of the cafeteria and grabbed his tray. Cole dumped his untouched food and put the tray up. With a sigh he headed down the hall to his room. He stopped hesitantly in front of his door and quickly shook his head. Cole changed his mind and decided to head to the school gym. Maybe a work out would help clear his mind.

Lily slipped outside, making sure no one saw her she walked silently into the woods. She walked for a good ten minutes then sopped in a small patch of open space. She made a circle of rocks that served as a fire pit then started to gather wood and other fuel for her fire. She piled it up quickly and set the wood ablaze.
