Maria grinned and returned Cody's hug, burying her face into Cody's shoulder. She pulled away and tutted, still with a small smile on her face, "Eurghh, stop being so modest you!" She pushed him slightly on the shoulder, "I'm used to guys being controlled by their egos, not..." She gestured to Cody, "...being nice." She scrunched her nose up jokily, "I don't think I'm gonna like you if you're too nice." She smirked and a small glint in her eyes along with the tone in her voice showed she was joking.
Marco smiled at Myra, pulling back his hand and looping his thumb through his belt. Soon they arrived at the entrance to the school. Basically, it was a large archway with the words 'Block E' over the top in large letters. It was open, and the hallways through the arch were bright cream and adorned with many a painting or poster made by students. This was the only place in the rebel compound where things were allowed on the walls. After all, children from three to seventeen had to spend nearly all of their life here, the place might as well be made nice enough for them to want as well as have to come here. As they began down the deserted corridor (It's Sunday so no school), Marco demonstrated to each classroom they passed, "So this is just the entrance hallway, we have twenty classrooms in total."
