The cave was dark,yet the little light from the campfire made it seem like a home.Everything was here.A waterfall ran outside down the cave and made a small pond.Food was around and wood and things were around to get the fire going again.

(That's what I was thinking.The cave is Jack's home and that's why there is a campfire there.But of course she wouldn't know till he came back!)

Max sighed "I'll be fine in a few days" he stated softly. He looked at the ground "I...I don't know why they wanted her. Heck they did not even know she was human or at least the last group of dumb a**' did not know" he stated

The sky rattled with thunder as lightning lashed from the clouds.The rain poured down like hail.

Lilian sighed. "well maybe it will all be over soon. Who knows?" She said trying to think positive.

Max bit his lip "I hope so" he said softly. He lay on the couch looking at the ceiling and pressed the almost melted ice to his side. He closed his eyes "do you ever think about what life would be like if none of us had our powers?" He asked softly

Lilian said sadly. "Yea I do, but, I try to think what my life wouldn't be like if I haven't meant any of you." Lily said with a small smile. "If I never meant Jordan, then we wouldn't have escape that facility. If I never met Ellie then I would have no hope. If I didn't meet you then I would never feel loved. So try to focus on the good of it."

Max sighed "sometimes I wished I was never born and if I was I wish my father was not my father" he said softly keeping his eyes closed "but if I was never born I would have never met any of you and I would never know what it would be like to be loved if I have never met you" he said weakly.
