Max smiled "don't forget the Denver Broncos (love them!)" he looked at the cop "but so what if the neighbors heard yelling. We hear yelling from their houses like telling their dogs to be quiet or if they are watching football" he said softly "unless they want us calling the cops on them I don't think there is anything to worry about. I can try to keep my dad quiet during the games if that is what you want" he teased lightly but just then he spotted the cop who came to the hospital and talked to him. He glanced at the chief "so if there is nothing else I think there is a football team about to play and I don't want to miss it" he said hoping they would leave

"There is no need to sarcasm. We also, came because at the hospital we contacted earlier, they were worried about your safety because they saw scars an markings on your back sonny." The officer stated while glancing at them both.
Mr. J looked at Max for answer because he could not think of one quickly. "Well, officer I am sure Maxwell did not men to be sarcastic." He said trying not to catch an attitude with him

"No I did not I'm sorry" Max said softly and glanced at his father and then at the cop "well like I told the cop that I talked to before I came here I was thrown in prison in Australia for stopping muggers about to hurt a lady. And because of that I was tortured for days until I was released 5 days later" Max stated and saw an officer go into his fathers office. He glanced at his father hopping he got rid of everything.

Mr. J said quickly. "That I correct, and may I ask, do you have an search warrant? To search My House?" M. J asked as he slyly gotten in front of the cop trying not to be rude.
The officer stepped back and said loudly as he stated. "No, I don't. I will come back in a couple of days for the warrant. Now if you excuse me." He said as he radio started buzzing bout a the if and needed him.

Max watched his father and the one cop realizing that his dad was still hiding something in his office, before looking back at the chief "is that all sir?" He asked in a kinder tone

Mr. J took a deep breath and went inside his office as he grabbed the trash out of the bin.

Max sighed and looked at his father grabbing the trash but did not say anything. He walked to the couch and lay on it propping his legs up on the coffee table
