"You are telling that to someone that doesn't know how to control their powers." I said as I looked at the boy. Pulling my hand backwards, I studied his posture. I then asked "You wouldn't happen to be James, would you?"

My lips quirk Into a smile. "Yeah. I do happen to be James. It is nice to finally meet you Katharine. This is the first time you've released your shields the entire time you've been here. Sorry, I couldn't help but eek. I didn't dig deep though. Oh...you probably have idea what in talking about. I specialize in reading minds. That is how I am able to control the powers of a weak minded person. But, here I am, spilling my guts to a person who doesn't even know me. Sorry, I'll shut up now."

I stepped backwards slightly. I then crossed my hand and did as he said 'put up my shield.' I blinked softly and said "Nice to know that I have someone that can read my mind. I will not allow that to happen again. Sorry, but it is a little weird for me to hear of someone say that. I normally have others around me that just want to learn how to control their powers. Anyways, that is why I am here. I need help controlling my powers. I have only just used them before I came here."

I sat in the living room of the house. Watching the television, I leaned against the back of the couch. Getting up, I walked into the kitchen and started to make something to eat. I wouldn't allow the other to make my food, so I made it. Moving diligently, I yawned softly and bit my lip.

Akira sat on the back porch, watching the tree branches wave in the wind. He was at a loss for what to do, and this, at least, was rather calming. He played with the idea of just getting up and walking off, but he doubted he'd get very far before SC caught him.

I finished making the food and put it on two plates. I then opened the back door and smiled softly. I walked into the cool air and headed over to Akira. I put a plate of food in front of him and said "Here." I then sat down in a seat beside him and looked out into the back yard. I then looked at the fired baloney and bacon sandwich and smiled.

I chuckle a bit. "I make a point of not invading people's privacy unless necessary. And, yeah, it's a little weird when talked about." I shrug. "So you never used your power before here? That's crazy." I shake my head in disbelief. "How'd they know you were a spellcaster?"
