The elk hit the truck like a battering ram, knocking it over and into the road, creating an artificial roadblock. A second truck swerved out of the way, but hit a tree. This truck was carrying weapons and explosives, and it exploded in a big fireball, which tossed the truck the girls were in into the forrest. The two men witht them were struggling to untangle themselves from the harness, and the driver wasnt moving.

In other words, a perfect escape.
