Maya shook her head and rolled her eyes. "I helped you and yet you still refuse to help me. I could have let you die today, you know? Obviously you aren't grateful for that though..." She looked away from him and curled her knees to her chest, rubbing her swollen ankle with her non-swollen hand.

"I've had a lot of people take advantage of me in the past," Maya told him softly, her voice cracking slightly. "Heck, I was supposed to go to prison before this started because someone took advantage of my talents and got me framed. I just don't like it when I do something for someone and they act ungrateful..."

"Right, I'll just leave then.." Silas muttered, standing up and grabbing his bag.

Lisa moved her hand along the dusty walls of the church, eyes narrowed as she gripped her bow tightly in her other hand, ready to attack anyone. A moaning sound made her bring up her bow and draw back the string at the speed of light, taking deep breathes. A walker, or whatever they were, had came stumbling in through the door, and was limping toward her. The church doors slamming behind it made it briefly check over its shoulder, then it stumbled over to Lisa again. Lisa snarled, gritting her teeth as she pulled back the string until it was itching her face; then she released the arrow, shooting the walker right in between the eyes, and it fell right onto its back.
Lisa didn't think how it could've gotten in with the large church doors protecting her. She marched over, gripped the arrow, which was stuck in the walker's head, and yanked it right out. Blood dripped from it, but it was surprising how little it was. She walked quietly over to the doors, her boots clinking softly against the floor, and she opened them slowly.

Maya shook her head. "You can stay," she replied, attempting to bandage her hand again. "Just please say that you appreciate what I've done for you and act like you mean it?"
