I laughed at the weak girl in his arms. He stared at me and it was like he had read my mind. "Don't" he said and glared at me. But that was the thing, I never listened to anybody. I attacked. I bared my teeth and ran to Demetri ready to sink my teeth into the fragile, weak human.

I saw that coming. I knew she was going to attack. I let my wings out and turned my back to block her. She stopped short and stared at my wings. I knew shed come around and attack Basil, and I wouldn't let that happen. While she was in shock I raised myself up into the sky out of her reach. She glared up at me in the sky and hissed. "You cant save everyone" she said and with that, she was gone.

Shadow was flying by teh forest when she heard basil scream. She saw her being held by a boy. She stopped and stared at him, narrowing her eyes.

I looked at her frighten face and realized how scared she was. "I'm sorry" I said and lowered myself on to the ground. I looked back at her and let her down so she could catch her breath. I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at her, wings still out. "Are you ok?" I asked

Basil looked at demetri and smiled softly her eyes scared. "I..I..I didn't know you- even exsicted." She stammered and looked at his wings. "Are you a vampire too?" She asked her voice calming as she didn't see the female vampire. Basil turned to a person flying down and hid here face in demetris chest scared again
