Knock on the door to darkness (v4) Closed

She smirked. "And the poor girl built the shelter on her own, her traveling companion deciding to idle about..." She leaned her sword against a tree and dusted herself. "A fire would be smashing, do you not agree?"

Her smirk grew to a grin as she continued, " 'Ah!' the girl thought. Perhaps if there were only a fire the girl would end her telling of the story from a most annoying perspective..."

Emily laughed. "Aw... Please come back, Dane! I promise to end this nonsense at once!" She ran up and grabbed his arm, pulling him back to a log she'd prepared as a seat. She sat him down and smiled at him. "I will prepare the fire. Please do not trouble yourself." She giggled. She removed her armor so as to not to be weighed down by it. Emily pulled a ribbon from her boot and tied her hair back. She weighed her sword in her hands, raised it to he sky, and began chopping wood.

Emily wiped her brow. "The wood is ready!" She turned to Dane and found his spot empty. She frowned and dropped her sword. "Dane..." Her words died in her throat. "Oh, what did I do wrong again..." She wanted to run after him, but her legs would not move, instead, her knees gave out and she collapsed tears in her eyes.

Dane heard Emily. A sigh left his parted lips. He walked back to Emily and bent down so he was at her level. "Girls are so emotional." He says.
