Alexander smiled. "Alpha, actually." She stated. "Turns out we may both have one thing in common. We're both leaders." She said. "So you're a Captain. Of what ship, exactly? And how could you have became a slave, anyways?" She asked him with her dark, forest green eyes sparkling with deep interest. She had only known this pirate - er, pirate captain - for perhaps two minutes, yet she felt as if she was rather fond of the guy.

"I WAS Captain of the Queen Marie. A few of my crew members turned on me and took me in my sleep, selling me. I woke up just as they were throwing me in the cage." he said, a slightly dark tone in his voice. His bright blue eyes sparked a bit behind his mask as he looked at her though.

Kane kneeled down to the girl in the cage, his icy blue eyes looking her over then held her gaze for what seemed to be a long while. His head tipped to the left slightly "Who are you girl?" he words sounded a bit gruffer then he meant them to be. He continued to study the girl She looks ok....... far better then any of the other slaves here he snorted at his train of thought and went back to studying the girl, awaiting her answer.

Slowly but surely, she tipped her head to the left just a tad as well as if mimicking him for a moment before she spoke up, her own voice was soft and flowed nicely but didn't go above a whisper in volume. "My name is Yumi." She cleared her throat, "Who're you?" Her legs then crossed so she sat Indian style before scooting forward so she could get a better look at him, her knees pressed gently to the bars of her cage door.
