I looked out the window and sighed softly. I then looked around the room. It was a large pent house and I smiled softly. I laid on the couch and looked over to the television. I watched it closely and sighed softly. I then turned over on my back and looked at the ceiling. I wondered who my fiancée was going to be and I wondered how he acted. I did not want someone that was a horrible man and very bossy, but my parents had chosen him for me. I got up and walked over to the door and opened it, looking at the stairs and then to the elevator. I was in the room alone and I wanted to go see my friend Alexander. He was the first person here other than I and we have truly bonded while we have been here. He and I had become great friends, but I wondered how his fiancée would react to me being around him, let alone mine.

I sighed softly and looked around the area. I was outside and looking out upon the ocean. Yes, this was a cove and I loved it. I smiled softly and then blinked as I took my shirt off and headed for the water with my board. I wanted to surf and I knew how to, but I had been forbidden to do any of that in Ireland. My home town and my rightful birthright. I then yawned softly as I jumped into the water upon my board. A ship approached and I watched as it carried others on board. I wondered, but I was not going to say anything. So I went on with what I was doing and went on surfing.

Laila sighed looking around her room, she new that her parents had only wanted the best for her when they had her arranged, but she wished she could have at least met her fiancée before she was forced into this. Laila sat down on the couch with a little sigh, at least she would be staying some where nice. She imagined her fiancée to be the most horrible foul person in the world so she couldn't be disapointed when he arrived.

Landon sat on his bed, his palms sweating like crazy. He hated being forced into things, and this was really the most extreme thing that his parents could think of. Landon wished that e had tried to go somewhere in his life now because with a wife he wouldn't have a choice. His parents had figured out his weakness and now he was going to have to make the best of the situation.

History:
Mei Mei was born into a rather well-to-do family that lived in the densely-populated eastern China. In school, due to her outgoing personality, she made many friends, and lived a content childhood. Much to her parents' pride, she did well in school, except in classes such as physical education, even though she enjoyed it. Despite her brightness, another class she struggled in was English. While other students made learning the language easy, for Mei Mei it was never so. Regardless of this, she has made it her goal to study the American culture further, and has been immersing herself in pop culture icons, slang phrases, and favored pastimes of the American people. At her request, her parents have allowed her to go to the country of her obsession to attend university, under the condition that she marry someone of their choosing. She honestly doesn't mind, as long as she gets to continue her studies. Ironically enough, she wants to become a language professor in the future.
Personality:
Mei Mei is not a shy person in the least. She loves meeting new people and making friends. There's almost nothing that she would shy away from. She prides herself on her sense of humor, and likes making people laugh, even if it's at herself. Although her outgoing attitude may seem overbearing at times, she doesn't mean any ill will... for the most part. Mei Mei strives to fit in wherever she goes, but she may go overboard sometimes as a result of her trying too hard to become "one with the culture". She has a tendency to be honest with people, and has a bad habit of dropping blunt comments on people, sometimes in the middle of a conversation. All in all though, she tries her best to be a good person as a whole, even though it may not appear so at times.
