I yawned and stretched out my arms,legs and back. I rubbed my eyes, getting rid of the remaining sleep. My ginger hair was ruffled and it was knotty. I yawned yet again and pushed my self up and propped my body up on my hands.

Vegas woke up to the sound of the apartment door being slammed shut.
She sat up and looked around sleepily, wondering where she was for a moment. Then she remembered that she had fallen asleep whilst waiting for her brother to come home from work last night.
"You're late" she commented, as Avery walked into the room. "Very late."

Avery shrugged. "Work" he said simply, then looked at the clock. "And you'll be late for school if you don't hurry up."
He turned around and watched as Vegas quickly scampered off to her bedroom to get herself ready for school.

[Mischief and Magic]

Robin sighed, staring at the sun as it rose. Somewhere in the back of her head, something told her she shouldn't be doing that, that she'll blind herself, but honestly? She didn't care, it was pretty. It was only a matter of time before the school opened and she could sneak in and wash up in the bathroom, but for now, she was leaning against the cool brick walls of the front of the building. Later she'd have to go find a hotel to sneak into and shower in or something, but seeing as she showered last night, that wasn't really one of her worries right now. A small smile fluttered across her face as she waited for someone to drive up and open the doors.

I sighed and grabbed my backpack that contained my school books and equipment then brushed my teeth and headed out the door to school. I cursed as I was continuously bumped into without any apologies, 'That's New York for you.' I thought bitterly. I eventually reached the school. I jumped up onto a large rock then climbed the rest of the way up to the roof. I dangled my legs over the edge as I watched the sun rise. The pink clouds streaked across the sky and the fiery clouds huddled up to the sun. I laid down my head in my hands. I yawned and closed my eyes happily, "This is the only good thing about school." I smiled. I hated school, sometimes I wished I could just run out of school then to some woods or a cave.

"Bye, Avery!" Vegas called as she opened the apartment door.
She recieved no reply and figured that he was asleep. She shrugged and headed out, closing the door quietly behind her, then bounded down the six flights of stairs to the bottom of the building.
She stepped outside, to see and hear heavy traffic - it was already busy, and it was still quite early.
She then made her way down the long street, the school was only at the end, so she didn't have much of a distance to walk.

I propped myself up on an elbow then saw someone approaching, I eventually noticed it was Vegas, I waved at her. "Hey Vegas!" I called.

As Vegas walked up to the school, she spotted Miyuki on the roof.
"Hi!" she smiled up at her, before making her way up to the roof to join her friend.
She looked up at the sky. "It's a nice view from here, isn't it?" she commented. "Well, excluding the city part."

[yeet.]

I let out a small chuckle at her remark about the city, "Yeah. I always come up here." I reply my blue eyes gleaming. I yawned and looked at my watch, "Not long now." I observed the watch seeing it was only four minutes until school started.

Robin glanced over as the two girls climbed their way to the roof, giving a small smirk. These were the kinds of people who knew how to live. She debated joining them for a moment, but she figured the less people who knew her, the less likely she was to get caught in the school. At the moment, she had been given 8 'marks' that were supposed to go in her record when she was wandering the halls, but so far, no one had noticed she wasn't enrolled. Maybe today she could take a break from this place and go to the library instead? It was still interesting there, far more than others would admit. Still, she needed food, and the cafeteria here was the easiest place to get it. Sighing quietly, she slumped over a bit and closed her eyes, waiting for someone to either yell at her or for the chatter of students to start up. Then again... that might be a bit hard to notice in a place like New York... Oh well, she had done it before, she could do it again.
