The world is all but a grand stage, with new actors and actresses appearing every day. What lies out on the curtains of her dear surface if not adventure. With the wind in the sails and the Rum (pirate ale) in the storage, there is nothing more these men and women need, aside from treasure. And what treasure lies left in the sea? Make your Heading and set sail for that Horizon!

In a small, peaceful port-town, colonized by the British, there is nothing to fear at all; The coast is made clear of any and all pirates who try to make port, the streets are protected by the governors guard, who maintain this perfect city life. But not everything is perfect? Be the baker who sells her wares to the folks, or the blacksmith who crafts the weapons, this port town is about to meet an terrible greet with Faith.

1) This is a pirate RP, so there are bound to be pirate language involved. Do not use curse words or any foul language similar to the modern day cussing words. Those words are not the terms used in pirate language. If you are going to use the pirate linguistics, please use the * symbol on the vowels, such as "You tw*-f*c*d B*st*rd". For those who can decipher the word, you'll know that Two-faced in not the curse word, however it is in fact used in the term. Use this rule how you feel fits into your role.
2) No God-modding, you don't have to die, but you cannot enter a sword or gun fight without some wounds. be it a bullet grazing, some scars and bruises, or even some heavy injuries, there is no getting around this.
3) This is going to be a big idea, so I'll be needing moderators and help.

Personality
Excalibur prefers to be quiet and reserved, locking up her feelings under a cool, hard shell. However, even though she has a quiet nature, Excalibur carries a powerful presence; one that should not be disobeyed. A very regulated and logical person, some might even say that she is arrogant the way she chews into some people for the slightest mistake; however, that is just her perfectionist side talking. Being one that hates to waste time and is expertly organized, Excalibur does things with quick efficiency, not a moment wasted. A slightly sensitive person when it comes to personal matters, Excalibur usually stands off at a distance, though she has strong leadership traits. Even with all of her good sides, and her calm appearance -indeed, one has yet to see her truly mad- Excalibur is quite socially awkward, which is why she prefers to be alone.
History
Excalibur had always wanted to be a pirate, even though her father was a knight and was training her to become one. Born with one blind eye, Excalibur always had to wear a eyepatch, accentuating the fact that she was going to become a barbarian one day. When one pirate, on his way to sell some things at the black market, saw her mock-fighting with a wooden sword, gave her the silver-threaded eyepatch as a gift; that very day, Excalibur stowed away on the pirate's boat, even though she was only seven at the time. Living and working there for eight years and becoming a quite accomplished pirate, Excalibur watched as all of the others, including the captain and the crewmembers retired, while she stayed on the ship. Seeing that Excalibur still wanted to continue her dream, The kindly Pirate gave her the deeds to the ship, The Obsidian Falcon, as well as his rapier that had been handed down from his father. Currently, Excalibur is a one-man crew, but a terrifying character because of the speed and efficiency she harnesses when looting, as well as the fact that she has never been caught; not to mention her young age.

@DragonairInfinity, accepted. I love the 'one-man' crew of the pirate ship known as the Obsidian Falcon, it does give the characters a good starting point for a ship, or at least give her reason to dock somewhere - probably a Tavern-town - in order to hire some ship-hands, whether they be for mopping the deck or be her crew. I do have one note, would your character be willing to be a pirate mate for a different ship (flexibility and all), I'll be asking the same for MidnightDreamer. I love the character for sure, just checking on the flexibility of the character (although, most captains would end up looking for a new ship).

@ future joiners, I do hope you all know the pirate lingo, as an example: It would be Captain Archimedes, or miss Archimedes, depending on her position aboard the vessel and ONLY if Excalibur was being talked to by a crew member (as captain), or given a command (as anything but captain). If Archimedes was anything by Captain, she'd be Miss. the same with below: it would be Mr. Williams on both characters on board if they were given a command. but simple conversation between characters. Such as between Excalibur and Jack, they would address their proper first names.

Although he's not quite practiced in the art of killing. He's the person to take the orders made from the blacksmiths around the port, so that the smiths can do what they do best - smith. He's yet to fall for a woman, but knows that somewhere out beyond the sea is the most beautiful woman he's yet to see. :.

He was a member of the (undecided ship), loyal to it's captain, Captain (undecided captain). He only had one love in his life, a young woman, who was looking for adventure when she was young, but vanished after a single night. That night, he's never looked at another woman the same way. :.
History
.: When he was first a pirate, He was very adventurous on the sea. being a sailor for the Royal Navy before becoming a pirate. He met a woman, a young and beautiful woman who really showed him a good time (hint hint). When he woke up the next day, she was gone, without any trace. He couldn't go looking for the maiden, as his captain was setting sail for a distant land that very day. As he was out at sea, he never stopped thinking about this woman that he met on the New England Port. He realized that Pirate medallion (a small trinket that he had made) was missing. The small trinket had the same bearings as their colors (colors is a term for flag by the way) and for nineteen years, he's gone without it, believing that the woman he loved had it. Soon his Pirate crew dispersed when their loot ran out, and now he seeks to join a new pirate crew, one that would last longer... He's been searching for almost five years for a new crew to join, not lead (he is not captain material). He's recently heard that a certain Pirate Captain has a single-crew ship, and hitting the nearby port soon, hopefully looking for more crew members. :.

(cause a one-man ship is a small sailboat... maybe a dingy or longboat at best. Even if she were smart or fast enough, it would be very tiresome for Excalibur to manage a huge pirate ship by herself - swabbing the deck, managing the helm, keeping lookout, managing the artillery, and more - so, in the interest of giving Excalibur a full ship, and not a dingy, it might make logical sense that Excalibur starts by looking for crew members. people who can manage the ship while she does her captain-stuff (charting a course for treasure, ensuring the ship isn't going to fall apart, and making the pirate-y decisions when they come across other ships and pirates) Plus, I'm sure you'd rather have Excalibur be the captain of her ship rather than become some deckhand on another.

Is that okay? I don't want you to feel pressure, it's just kinda made a bit of sense if Excalibur would be looking for a right and sturdy crew for her newly owned pirate ship than to be the captain of a small 'dingy'...)
