hope gasped as she was randomly picked. she laughed and waved in her tiny cage to her new master. "that's me i'll be the best slave ever!" her voice was radiating with confidence and excitement. her ears shot up and her tail was excited.

[fever dream]

Whittled down to the quick, Daph's nail stung and reddened as he chipped away at the wooden base of the cage. He'd worn a groove into one of the planks next to a screw that held this piece to another. Splinters came off in jagged spears and he placed them in a small pile. He was not angry as his did this, and he didn't destroy the cage in spite; rather opposite that: he was slow-moving and concentrated, focusing all energy on this task. No thoughts entered his head and when new environmental stimulus occurred, he ignored it. His body was coiled tightly under his arms, knees drawn in and wrapped up securely. He faced away from the door of his residence, silently toiling away, waiting. For what? He wasn't sure. This was a new part of town- he'd been brought miles from where he had lived for the last seven years, and nothing here was familiar. Loneliness was maybe the main emotion that budded in his chest: missing his father, his mother, the kind forest that homed him for the first eight years of his life.
Daph was knocked off balance when someone thudded against his cage and startled out of his reverie by uproarious laughter and a muttered apology to the slave keeper. He listened to the rattling of the name tag attached to the outside of the cage as it settled, looking outside, eyes ambiguous.

Jack
Jack's head turned towards an excited voice. Seeing hands sticking out of the cage waving back and fourth, Jack's long legs slowly started walking. He put his hands in his pockets of his hoodie. He approached her, looking around her. "Okay then." He looked towards the man and gave a small nod. The man came over with keys and opened the door to the cage. He quickly grabbed her and took out hand cuffs from his pocket. He put them on her wrists then pulled out a rope out of his pocket and tried them to the hand cuffs. Jack just watched confused. He didn't think they would have to have this much security on them. The man handed the other side of the rope to Jack.

hope wagged her tail excitedly as she was done up for transport. she looked up to her new master and said "i'll be a real good slave" she assured jack as they walked out of the center. she then looked at him and asked "what kind of work will i have to do?"she looked up at him with her bright eyes beaming.

Their master blinked then he nodded. "They're all yours." Elda clapped her hands happily though Freya seemed uncertain about the man her sister charmed.

Kaname barred his fangs. "One would think that you would be more respectful to the king of vampires."

Ciel walked away from the others and saw a girl in a cage. He walked towards Monika's cage. "Hello."

Alexander: He shrugged his shoulders slightly and stared at the ground as they walked "I guess.." he said, his voice slightly quiet. He let out a soft cough, his throat rather dry from thirst, since his old owner really didn't take good care of him. He occasionally glanced at his new master, curious to what she was really like.

Keira: She thought for a second, looking at the slave for a while, examining him. "Rare, eh?…" she muttered in thought "How about… 900 grand?" she said, looking at person with her hands on her hips and her hair in her eyes. She gently tapped one foot on the floor rather impatiently as she waited for their answer.
