Willie

I had been sitting on a large stone, in the heart of the village. I gently swung my feet back and forth and brush against the long grass. I hummed as I watched the then fireflies fly out of the grass, as they lit up the night. I noticed that Si had lumbered out of her cabin, and I smiled happily. I leaped off of the boulder then hit the briskly village floor. I waved at the blonde girl, as I grinned kindly.

I dragged my paws though the dirt making tracks. I
felt a tickle run through me and I shifted
into a boy again. I giggled as I wiggled
my fingers and I ran off to find my
sister. I looked around. Why was everything
black? This is a forest right? Shouldn't it have
colors and animals? I crawled over a fallen
black log and I looked at my clothes. They
were black and so were my hands. I
shrugged and clapped my hands together
as I walked towards the direction I saw my
sister head off in.

Laughing,I climbed onto his back.I was struck with fear,I had only flew
once,and that was on Si's back with her now dead crush.

As I saw Willie wave,I ran straight over.I said,"Hey Willie! Have you seen Olivia?
She wondered off,and I can't find her."

"Are you ready?" I looked back at her. I didn't wait for
her to reply. I faced upwards and spread my wings. I
crouched down and pushed off the ground. I clawed the
air and beat my wings. She didn't weigh much, but I
wasn't used to the extra weight. I turned like a tornado
with every flap. I finally turned horizontal when we
broke through the first cloud layer.
