Hailey was in human form wandering around looking at the statues bored. Hailey pushed her blond hair out of her face as she looked up at the golden dragon. The dragon with its wings extended was just beautiful.

I played with my snakebites with my tongue. I
had never flown for anybody's enjoyment
before. What was I supposed to do? I couldn't
do anything cool. "Um, ok," I murmured. I stood up and shifted into
a griffin. I flipped my head, motioning her to
come on.

I wondered about the camp with bewildered eyes. I had just joined this place with the other shifters like me and my brother. The only the I could see was ash and wrecked buildings. I plopped down on the long grass. Memphis was telling this was nothing compared to the last eclipse. I was shocked when she told me this. My mind went boggled. So, you just have to rebuild your home every time there's an eclipse? I thought to myself. Then, another thing she had told me was resting in my thoughts as well. You can hear the birds chirping in the forest. That means it must be getting better. She seemed joyful when he said this. Her words haunted me. I felt pity for the shape-shifters that lived here. I hung my head, and frowned.
