Ryu watched him frowning. " And the "law" says you can sell people like pets. The "law" makes it perfectly fine for vampires to kill some ones family and then sell them to be a slave. " he hissed " Oh lets just kill an entire race of people but we'll keep a few of them so we don't starve. Oh a few of them were in hiding so that they wouldnt be killed oh thats cool lets just slaughter them. Oh so they have two little boys of thats ok we can kill them to. wait what did you say one of thems a catboy oh we'll just make him watch as we kill them and then sell him off for money." he hissed.

"Right now Azrael is working on making nekos citizens but it is a lot of work and a lot of his royals are rebeling against it. Then again he is only one person leading millions. Besides humans didn't die out. They all changed expect for the few humans who refused. Azrael offered them food, homes, money, and everything just to donate a cup of blood a month," L replied. "Even I am fighting with him to make Nekos equeal to us but it is slow and hard because a lot of vampires think it a sin to change the way we live and rule," L added. He turned to look at Ryu. He remained unfazed by the nekos anger. "You don't even have to stay here. I am not going to demand you clean, cook, and be a slave. I hate the word. It makes everything taste so bitter. Besides in the next few weeks, nekos should be a free race," L muttered. He sat down and continued to pet Muffin.

Alec -
The young neko glanced at the door to Ryu's room as he walked by with the vampire. He wondered if he was still sleeping, and if he was okay. It was odd, but Ryu liked him, and wanted to know more about the other neko. He spoke of a shop or store he was at with others like them. Alec had never been there, or at least as far as he knew. He wanted to find out more of that place. Still, the thought left, feeling the strong arm of Jackson around him. Alec giggled at Jackson's yawn, and nuzzled again his neck. "My sleepy Jackson," he purred. Alec managed to slip out of the vampire's hold, in order to move the bags of his clothes off the bed, carefully making a small pile to the side of them, before embracing Jackson in his arms suddenly, his arms wrapped around the vampire's waist. "Now we can lay down," he whispered softly with a smile on his lips.

Ryu pulled his knees to his chest trying to calm himself down. He hated yelling at any one or acting mean. He just hated it. He hid his face in the back of his knees trying to hide the tears. He didnt want to sound mean but even though the memory was old it still hurt horribly. " i..Im.. sorry.." he said quietly

"Don't be. You have every right to get mad at what has happened. I am trying to help change it. So is Azrael. Soon, very soon, everything will change. Vampires and nekos will live as one and such," L said. He looked over at Ryu and blinked.

Jackson pouted when Alec moved. He chuckled as Alec returned from moving the bags and hugged him again. He moved them towards the bed and laid down, pulling Alec close to him. He yawned again and closed his eyes to sleep. Tired from everything. The fight, his wn emotional breakdown,m just everything.

Alec giggled when Jackson pulled him to the bed with him. The softness of the bed was nice, but it was Jackson's arms that brought a warmth over the neko's body. His eyes grew heavy, as he nuzzled as close to Jackson as he could, which wasn't much more than Jackson already held him. Alec smiled as he took in his love's scent, all the fear moving away, at least for now. The vampire's yawn made Alec smile, as his own breathing slowly steadied, and he wrapped his tail around Jackson's waist, a low purr something from him due to the safe comfort he felt. "I love you, Jackson," he mumbled, wanting the vampire to know those words. "I'm sorry if I hurt you... I love you."

Ryu rubbed his eyes trying to make the tears go away feeling like an utter child.

Jackson smiled, to tired to answer. He fell into a deep sleep. Dreams of nothing but darkness yet the darkness seemed to hold his guilt. Then the dreams began. Him laughig and smiling with Lamathyst, not knowing he was the great detective L. He didn't know until it was to late.

L shifted and crouched on the edge on of his bed. "Don't worry Ryu. You are free to do whatever. Hit me, hate me, yell at me, anything really. I am not going to do anything about it," he said. Muffin coiled behind him, sleeping contently.

Ryu shook his head. " no..I cant do any of those things. You haven't done any thing but really help me, and Im just yelling at you.." he said quietly
