I glanced at Rogue, then unfurled my wings. In one fluid movement I shot into the air and landed behind the zombie, giving him two targets. I let an arrow go to get his attention, then prepared myself in case he chose to attack me. I looked up at Rogue, then focused my attention back on the zombie, tense and waiting. How had I not seen him earlier?

I looked at the girl with the wings sort of mesmerized by the beauty of her and the wings themselves. I moaned. This was really bad. I felt another bullet in my back from the other girl and snarled at her before looking back at that winged wonder. I felt a few more bullets in my legs but she didn't seem to be aiming for my head.

I stumbled backward, a little worried about the way he was watching me. I heard Rogue shooting at him, and heard the bullets connect. The zombie didn't seem to care, keeping his eyes on me. I leveled my bow and pulled back another arrow. I let it go, but I missed by a lot. Holding back a cry of frustration, I pulled another arrow out and let it go.

The arrow landed in my shoulder and I groaned pulling it out in a swift mood. Feisty, I sort of liked it. I looked behind me at the girl that kept shooting at me and snarled. Would she quit that already? It was getting on my nerves.

I looked at Shay pulling out a grenade. I could pull the cap and make a run for it. It would blow the zombie to bits but it was also one of the last grenades and Shay would die too. I looked at Shay and then at the snarling zombie. "What should we do?!?!" I yelled.

I looked at Rogue over the zombie. She had something in her hand. A grenade. I smiled to myself. A grenade was definitely our best option, but I could see why she hadn't thrown it. I was in the way. I caught her eye and motioned upward with my head, then shouted "On the count of 3!" I opened my wings and tensed, ready to spring into the air. I hoped she understood. "1... 2... 3!"

She was born with a twin, a brother of course. Taken away from their mother and father, the twins where placed into a foster home. Dylan and Alexander grew up to learn to take care of each other and look out for one another. THey left their foster home when they were 18 years old. Both looking out for one another, on their 19th birthday, Alexander and Dylan were both attacked by zombies, Alexander threw himself in front of Dylan and saved her, telling her to run and never look back. She remembers ever detail from that day.

He was born with ice cold skin, the doctors thought he was going to die, so they stuck him in a heat controlled tube, to keep him alive. No, it almost killed him. After the nuclear war, he had gained his power, though his father had been killed along with his mother and little baby sister. His aunt and her family took him in when he was four. When he was five, the boy figured out he had powers, but he kept them secret. When he turned 18 years old, everything went to heck and he finally left home to get away from his family, his aunt and cousins mostly. Now he is helping the curing mutants with everything he can do.

For the first 15 years of his life, he was in a foster care until he 'accidentally' set the place on fire. So after that, for the last 11 years of his life, he was taken and placed in a juvenile detention center and then was take to a jail once he turned eighteen. Once there, a few years later, the nuclear war had hit and he has gained his power, making them stronger and stronger, he had finally learned he was going to love these power. Finally he was released only a few days ago.

Before was born, her mother had been working around toxic waste, along with her father. Her mother, not knowing that she was pregnant, she mother finally found out when she was taken to the hospital for harsh stomach pains, not knowing she had gone into labor. Soon Sparrow was born, she had born a mutant. Having a different skin color that everyone else, she was told she was a mutant. Her parents didn't care, they loved her no matter what and took her home. caring for her and raising her. Once she turned 17 years old, the girl left home in order to keep her family safe. Not knowing they had been killed by zombies, she is looking to help cure everything.

She's completely shy, though is very smart. She'll hardly talk to anyone, but then again, once asked multiple times, she will finally speak. She can be sweet and nice, but it is rare for her to smile and laugh.

I noticed what was going on and got the heck out of there. Being a zombie I could run pretty darn fast. I made it out huffing and puffing and groaning right as the whole alley and a few buildings exploded.

Right as I threw that grenade I knew I was never making it out. I was practically screwed and dead. I ran and hit the floor as soon as possible. I made it maybe halfway across the street before the grenade blew up. A piece of a building came hurtling in my direction but I was to stunned to move. Right as it was about to fall on me it flew in the other direction. I looked up seeing Jean and Raven. Those d*mn Power Loving mutants. After saving my life they disappeared making me angry.

I heard the explosion below me and tried to look down but I couldn't see anything through the dust and smoke. I circled around in the air for a few minutes waiting for the scene below me to clear up. When I could almost see the ground again I began descending. I saw a figure standing by a building that had collapsed. As I got closer, I saw that it was Rogue. She looked shocked and a little angry. "Rogue! Are you ok?"

I growled. "Perfectly fine." I said in my southern accent. I paced. "If it weren't for those stupid Power Loving mutants though I would be dead." I said angrily. I wish they hadn't been the ones to save me. I picked up my shades quickly and cleaned them sliding them over my eyes. I didn't like to show off my different eyes.
