Shay wandered through town, not going anywhere in particular, just away. Her last home had lasted only one day, and it hadn't been a very good arrangement. She sighed and wondered what she had done to deserve to be punished and turned into a freak. All she wanted was for things to return to normal so she could have a home. She kept an eye out for zombies as she walked, but she wasn't too worried. There hadn't been too many around here lately.

R/Zombie




I trudged down the road smelling everywhere. I caught the smell of blood and brains and all those promising organs. I started down the alley to the next street where I could smell it. I paused for a second realizing the smell was not human but mutant. Not another mutant, the last one almost killed me for good. I still continued to follow the amazing scent though, the scent seemed to promise me the best dinner yet and I wanted it.




Rose/Rogue/Curing Mutant




I walked down the same street as Shay and saw her. I ran up catching up to her quickly. "Hey Shay." I said looked at her from behind my shades. I knew her because I was pretty sure she was with the curing mutants like I was. I smirked and walked next to her a bit a gun in my left pocket.

Shay jumped a little as Rose ran up behind her. "Rose!" she shrieked indignantly. "Don't do that!" She wasn't really that mad, everyone was a little jumpy lately, and her indignant attitude quickly turned to laughter. "What are you doing around here?"

I smirked. "You know the usual. I am just checking the perimeter of the city really and you don't have to call me Rose you can always call me Rogue." I said walking next to her. I brushed some hair out of my face. "Earlier this morning I fought with one of the Power Loving Mutants, didn't get to touch her though and get her powers and she is one of the best." I said with a sigh. I heard something coming down an alley. "Shay, I have a feeling we aren't alone." I whispered. I pulled out my gun so it was ready in my hand.




R/Zombie



I saw two girls now. Great! I was going to be eating like a king today. I noticed one of them pull out a gun and gave a soft but deep grunt. I didn't want to get killed even though I was technically already dead. I sighed angrily and decided my best shot was to charge them maybe? I looked at them and began to make a slower run then how fast I could really go.

Shay rolled her eyes. "Come on Rogue. There's no one here. You're just being paranoid. I've been here for a few hours, no humans, mutants or zombies." But a chill ran down her back, and suddenly she wasn't so sure. She pulled her bow from off her back where it was slung and held it at the ready.

I looked at her. "I think you might be a bit wrong." I said looking at a zombie running at us. I shot him in the chest which only made him pause and look down. I looked at Shay and then decided our best shot was to distract him.

I looked at the bullet in my chest and up at the two girls. Of course two girls. The one that had a bow was some what attractive but I didn't let that stop me from wanting to eat her friend.
