Rayne hissed, refusing to fight. Smart enough to stay a wolf, her sunglasses tipped down, on her nose. Now she looked like a "cruising" wolf. Baring her teeth, the blade stuck out, ready to lash out. Getting a better idea, she turned to a tawny eagle, carrying the blade in he talons. Reaching a branch in a tree, she tilted her head, watching him. It felt odd, shifting at will to anything to her. But it was a rare almost effect on the new world. It felt even weirder to live for years in the dark and lonely world, and suddenly one day meet three people.

Seeing that the girl had shifted yet again he shafted his katana and turned his back to the bird. "Well if we ever meet my name is Igneous. It would be nice to have a name to call you back by, but unless you tell me you shall remain un-named..." Igneous shifted into a brown dragon with raptor like claws, he spreads his wings about ready to take flight.

Rayne gazed as he flapped his wings. She never could master and turn into an animal that she's never seen, other than dinos. Now satisfied that she could shift to the Raptor- Dragon, she flew away, dagger almost disappearing. She turned into a harpy eagle instead, so she was a giant and could easily carry almost anything. Igneous had been annoying almost, but he was a shifter, her kind from the flame. Shaking her bird like head, she eyed a sloth in a tree. Swooping down, her bird instincts tracked in. Whatever animal she was, she acted like one to not be suspicious, and it was true. Grabbing the sloth, she spread her wings and flapped, reaching a old bald eagle nest.

He watched the girl fly off and take the life of the sloth from afar. He took a running jump before spreading his wings and catching the currents up. "Well then, that was a waste of my time, back to hunting." Up in the air he could see all, the woods, the village within, and all the ash that blew around.

{Sorry for not replying, I've been busy}

Aurora nodded a bit, standing up and slinging her backpack over her shoulder, along with her bow. "You need a weapon? Uh, this might help a bit, but here.." She said, taking a decent sized knife out of her bag and handing it to him. One he had taken it, she glanced around, before waving a bit, "I guess I'll probably see you around, then." She said. Turning, she began heading north.

((Ugh, school has been keeping me on my toes, and other RPs that seem to not slow down at all... Can't look away from them for a second or *boom*, twenty pages.))

Elias took the knife, nodding to her. "Thanks. I appreciate it." He said to her, waving back. "Yeah, I'll see you around." He said, going south, towards one of the larger trees with some low enough branches for him to climb up. Once he rested in a decent enough limb, he hung all of his stuff that he actually had left in his bag, which was basically just some clothes and empty food cans, onto a tree limb, and hunkered down.

Aurora continued her way through the forest, her bow slung over her shoulder as it always was. She was- again- trying to find the opening in the trees that she had spotted before. Eventually, after over an hour of travel, she found it. Quietly, she drew her bow, making her way towards the gap, not quite sure what to expect. Hopefully, it wouldn't be something which could kill her.
