Zato turned his head to the sound of Dylan's voice, but remained 'staring' where she last was before she went off with her fish to eat it somewhere else. He sighed and turned his head back to 'look' at Skylar. He reached out and his shadow handed him the dead fish. He grabbed it and crouched down, blindly but precisely placing the dead animal in the neko's hands. He then got up and turned around and walked away. Eddie, his shadow, swirled upwards around his master's body before shaping his head into a snake-like one, his red eyes looking around as he guided his master in the right direction. Zato was used to being ignored by people like that, be it if they were frightened or just irritated by his presence.

I had been looking at the wolf until I felt him place the fish in my hands. I look down at it carefully then I looked at him as he started walking away. I couldn't help but feel a little guilty. I was disrespectful when all he tried to do was help me. I stood lightly and walked after him, with a quick pace. I finally get ahead of him a little, though still kind of beside him. "Um, Thank you." I manage quietly and I smile slightly

Eddie twisted his head to look at the girl that had decided to follow them and frowned, showing a set of black, sharp teeth. Zato tilted his head slightly in the shadow's direction and it quickly sank back down at its master's feet, now just swirling around them like a simple black mass. He then turned his head to the sound of the girl's voice. He didn't know if he was looking where he had to, but a slight poke at his foot told him that he needed to turn his head just an inch more; and so he did. "You're.. welcome..," he said slowly, this time not smiling. He was rather surprised she had returned just to thank him... And it wasn't really of his nature to be kind to others - if it weren't for the pity he felt for the neko's hunger he would have attacked her on the spot. He then turned his head away and 'looked' ahead, unsure of what else to say or do, he wasn't used to these kinds of situations.

I smile and look down at the fish in my hands. "So what's your name?" I ask looking back up at him. He was obviously either older or just taller than me. My head reached just about to his shoulders. then again, I am short for my age. I flick my tail happily, waiting for him to reply

Zato was surprised, to say the least, when Skylar showed interest in learning his name. He again moved his head to where her voice came from and to where he was now certain she was standing. Why did I give up my sight? I could have given up my speech instead.., he thought and then focused on responding to the neko's question. "My name is not of import... Just enjoy your food," he said. He didn't want to reveal his identity to anyone since you never knew when he could turn from a nice guy to a terrorrific beast that's ready to jump you and kill you on the spot. He gave her a slight smile before he turned into a black mass, a black hole opening under his feet. He practically liquified, looking like black goo that just fell into the hole before it closed down and disappeared.

(( Sorry 'bout that post... But hey, they can always pick up a fight if you want to. ^_^ 'Cause Zato's not really the friendly-and-caring type.. *deep sigh* ))

I watch as he practically just disappears and I huff in annoyance. "Fine then." I mumble and turn back around, heading to the pond again. I look down at the fish as I approach the pond and I sigh lightly. not caring that it was dead, I threw the fish into the pond and continued walking. I can find food perfectly well on my own.
