ash growled and flicked his ears and a 'buzz' went by. he snapped his jaws after lifting his head up, soon his whole body to chase the insect. the little buzzer brought him to the garage door of the large storage building. he poked his head out and saw a kitten. ash was ready to pounce on it when he saw it smile up at the stars. still, the urge was undeniable. ash growled lowly and stalked her through the tall grass. finally, when the moment was right, ash pounced. though, the small wolf missed by a mile. "crap.." he grumbled under his breathe, scrambling to his feet. he sprinted in front of her, his teeth bared slightly and his tail held up dominantly.

Something was moving behind her. Nova could feel it, but she didn't had time to react before the big creature attacked her. It tried to claw her, but luckily it missed. She quickly jumped up, and stared at it. He was a male wolf, she recognized, but she didn't had time to watch him more closely. She started running through the grass, as fast as she could. She could hear him breathe heavily, and she ran for her life. Her heart pounded faster and faster, and she thought I won't be able to hold on much farther..Then, she saw a tree. Yes! Nova thought, and quickly climed up in it. They weren't far from the city now, and she could see the street lights. She looked away at the wolf, that had tried to catch her. Why? She couldn't know, of course. Well, I guess I'll just have to sit here then... She thought, annoyed of the fact. She watched him from up above.

The max age is about sixteen, and the technology level is... Well, they have modern houses and that stuff, but they don't own iPhones and items like that.

ash saw the cat run, and he knew he was too sudden in his actions, but cats and dogs, in this case a wolf, don't instinctively get along with one another. ash whined and flattened his ears, but he followed the cat in hopes of her being a fellow shifter, they could work things out and he could apologize to her. the black wolf moved swiftly through the street, following the cat closely behind, just a tail's length away from the small creature, but he slowed up every now and then. when he saw her climb up the tree, he knew that he was going to be stuck down below. he sat and waited, looking up at the kitten with his ears glued to his head and his tail stuck to his haunch. "please.. i.. i didn't mean it.." he said up to her.

((just so you know, this is my intro/ form for my character.

"This is Charlis air force base, come in unidentified plane" the air traffic control tower said through the radio. Aiden grinned through he piloting goggles and headset. "What should we tell them, dad?" she shouted over the noise of the bi-plane. "The truth." her father replied. " No need lying to our own military."

"Roger dodger" Aiden replied, and gave a thumbs up before getting back on the mic. " Morning boys! This is bi-plane Victor-Echo-Sierra 77 comin outa BWI airport. Journalistic mission, gonna check out the ruins of Denver." "Roger that, though be careful, the area is still full of debris and smoke. Stay frosty." air traffic control replied. Ever since the strike on Denver, the area was a dangeous fly zone. Few people evr flew over the site, much less entered it for fear of their lives. But Aiden and her father were both experienced pilots, and her fathers photographs often appeared in magazines and newspapers. Surely nothing would happen, right?

As they approached the edges of the city, at first all she could see was a huge column of dust. As they flew closer, however, they glimpsed buildings, and the occasional movemt. "Wonder if anyone survived. It's been six years." Aiden thought. Then something with wings flew by and slammed into the plane. "Dad?" She asked as the plane began to tumble out of the sky. "I'm trying to pull us up, but the engine won't respond. Prepare to jump--"

Her fathers words were cut off with a sickening crunch as everything went black.

Nova stared down at him. Had a wolf just said "Please" to her? Of course...! She sighed. He is a hybrid! Nova jumped down from the tree, and transformed into a human again. She looked at him and said:
"I'm really sorry, I didn't realize that you were also a shape-shifter"
She sat down in the grass, and a cold night breeze swept by. She shivered, and watched the street lights, realizing that she had been out for about eight hours.
