Akira followed Madam Rose to the study in silence. As they entered in, Akira gave a lengthy examination of the room, not recalling ever visiting it before. Wasting little time, however, she stood a small distance in front of Rose who was now sitting in her chair and gazed at the woman expectantly.

He opened his mouth and shut it again, before loosely shaking his head. "No... Hovever, I'm sorry if this
is offensive..." His russian lilt was becoming ever more prominent. "but vould you mind explaining the umm.." He gestured at the tiny hint of a wing sticking up from behind her back with a sheepish smile. "The vings? I've never seen a mutation like that before." He ran his thumb over his lower lip, musing over the possibility that this really was a genetic mutation, a shift in the codons in her DNA. However the change was too big. Such a growth would have to come from parents(or a parent, depending on wether or not the allele for wings was dominent or not.) or inserted artificially into her cells before she even became a real baby. a feat impossible in this era and the next. Such deductions resulted in the hypothesis that she wasn't fully human, part of another species hidden on Earth. He looked at her curiously, interest blooming in his eyes.

Breeze

I simply stared at him for a moment before I sighed and slowly stretched out my wings. "My father...was an angel." I said to him and I looked away from his curious gaze. It made me uncomfortable to be looked at like a science experiment...a freak of nature. I knew I'd never make it in the real world. People would be scared of me. They would want to run tests and ask questions I probably didn't have answers to. I bit my lip and glanced back up at him. "I'm a Nephilim. Half angel, half human."

"Well..." She sighed "basically, I made a deal with the village council to let us live here. In exchange, we never bother anyone..." She looked down "it turns out only half the council agreed to this deal, so the other half didn't know about it...until now, of course." She frowned even more "so a representative came by and said that we have no other option, and we must leave..." She cupped her face with her hands "I have not a clue what to do. I truthfully have barely any money left...it would take a miracle for us to get somewhere before they drive us out..."

Morag listens in silence to Gabrianna, he shifts his weight from one foot to another and swallows. "Thank you." he says after a long while. What would she say, or do, or think if she knew what it is he really craves? No...No. It is better she never knows..or anyone else. He wouldnt be caught. A smile tugs at his mouth and he speaks yet again, corupting the tagible still, even as he wonders why she blushes...surely not Him! "What is there...to do, around this place?" he inquires polite and quiet.

I scurry down the hallway, sniffing madly as I do. I had left my bags in a small alcove at the front door. There wasn't much in them, just a few personal belonging's nobody would know what to do. Humanoid scent fills my tiny noise. I feel them standing not to far away through my sensitive whiskers and let out a quiet squeak of alarm. I had hoped that the first person I would meet would be someone with authority that could show me my room. Thats all I wanted, to unpack and settle down before exploring this place. I hated meeting new people before I was settled because it made me look unusual. Then again; I had only been here an hour or so, most of the time spent in one form or another in the alcove. I hide in the shadows, watching the humans and waiting, to see what I could possibly do next...

Morag raises his eyebrow a moment and then pulls a flute from the dresser and begins to play. The creature is very gentle, and attentive as he quietly plays the instrument. He is waiting for Gabrianna to speak, and doesnt know what to say himself.. at the moment while this strange one waits he works on one of the counterparts to the viola-song.

I stop dead once I hear the soft symphony of sound. Shifting into a wild cat, which has amazing hearing, I pad silently down the corridor, following the melody. It is obvious that who ever, or whatever is playing has an amazing talent, and it draws me towards it. I stop outside a door, bumping the tips of my nose against the hard wood as I do. An obstacle. I examine it quickly, and notice a small hole big enough for a spider in the bottom corner where the wood meets the hinge, shifting into the spider, I slip through the dark tunnel, following the melody all the way. Once inside, I quickly make my way under some sort of bed, because as a spider, I can't see or hear very well. Morphing back to my favorite wildcat form, I crouch in the semi-shadows, watching as a boy makes magic with a flute...

{ Yeah sure! I just had her wander in. Just to let you know, Sera loves music, its her pet fancy :3 She'd follow piano music down the street as an elephant if she had no other option! :3 }

Morag pauses and makes a few notes in his ever-presant note-pad before continueing on the flute, wondering what that slight thud was from and the subtle scratching sounds... shrugs it off and continues after humming the propper chord. He breaks off with a sigh, "I wish I could have brought the old piano with me..." another sigh and he is continuing on the three-throated reed instrument softly.

I close my eyes, listening to the soft sounds around me. they interfere with the music, but somehow, make it stand out even more. When he mentions the piano, I almost yowl with joy, father used to play the piano for me. He always said that our cat loved the piano so why shouldn't I? I don't know what it was that drove me to music, I couldn't play any instrument or sing; unless you count the howling of a wolf or the clicks of a whale, but the music calmed me. I start purring, relaxed entirely. I don't know why, but the second the music stips, I feel as if the world has become a darker place.

{ HA! Brilliant. Madam rose is going to have a tough time keeping Sera away from him then! She'd follow a good musician to hell and back for a tune. }
