Max just stood there as if nothing hurt him, either that or he could not feel pain in this state (Hint ). he managed to catch one of Embers fire balls and created a never before seen blue flame. He smiled "you really are persistant" he taunted he threw the blue fire ball not at Ember but up above their heads. The blue flame got brighter and brighter until the whole room was filled with light "this permanantly disables all powers except for the creator in any fight. But dont worry your powers will comeback in a few days" max said softly. He looked at Ember "This means I win. I won't kill you unless you try something to harm my masters" he stated coldly

Nick collapsed on the floor and was holding his head gritting his teeth as his powers were freezing up

Paul grumbled as he got out from under the force field.

Ember laughs bitterly. "You really don't know me at all, do you?" she says, before rushing him and taking out his legs, making him crumple to the ground.

Max narrowed his eyes when she made him fall "I'll make you pay for that" he hissed "and you will wish I did not spare your life the first time"

Paul narrowed his eyes "you'd better or you are going to be in big trouble" he snapped. He glanced at Deanne
Nick was still huddled on the floor holding his head

Ember glares at him, then tackles him. If this'll get him to get back to Earth... Her knees on his chest to hold him down, she holds up Max's head and kisses him, hoping with every particle of her body that it'll snap him out of it.

Max blinked a few times when Ember kissed him. His eyes became normal as well "E...Ember?" he said surprised. He flinched when his father called his name

Paul grit his teeth and clentched his hand into a fist "MAX" he called out angrily

Ember looks Max in the eye. She pulls him to his feet and sprints towards the exit, forcing through it, and dragging Max along, keeping his hand clamped tightly in hers. She senses Annelle and grabs her too, holding her by the scruff. She doesn't slow down until she reaches Annelle's house again, and then lets go of both Max and Annelle, making sure that Annelle was put down a bit more carefully, as she was injured. She crosses her arms and glares at Max. "You can be an idiot sometimes, you know that, right?"

Deanne stumbles backwards as the fight abruptly ends. She quickly regains her posture, and looks at Vito as he rushes back in. "Are the back-up coming?" Vito nods.

Max avoided her question "I...I have to go back" he said softly "I am their weakness. They are almost helpless without having someone with powers. Because my father negotiated with your parents to make his sons the slaves that means all of you will be safe until they have no use for us. So because they concider Ben useless I have to take over for him" he paused and looked at the ground "I offered my self to save you because I want all of you to live without fear" he bit his lip and looked out the window "you have to trust me on this. Yes they will make me do things but each time they do they don't know that I am just leading them along until I can pounce and take them all down" he looked at Ember "please trust me on this"

Ember holds out her hand. "Do you still have your phone?" she asks.

Max nodded "ya" he said softly and took it out of his pocket and put it in Embers hands He remained silent.

Ember takes it and throws it against the nearest tree, where it shatters. "Now they can't track us," she says. She turns back to Max. "There's no way i'm letting you go back there. Do you remember anything before the thing happened?" she asks.
