Ember hesitates for a second, then realizes what's going on. So that's why he didn't struggle... She starts to back up, pretending to surrender, but is really just buying time. Then she stops and stiffens as a couple more people walk into the room, debating with each other. They break off and look at Ember as they see the group near the door.

Deanne lifts her mask and smiles evilly. "Long time no see, honey," she says, and next to her Vito, with his mask still on, smiles, his eyes glinting.

I will make sure of it". His eyes started to glow slightly as a small ring of fire surrounded him. He kept looking at Ember with danger in his eyes.
Paul just smirked and placed a hand on his sons shoulder and looked at Ember but remained silent. When Deanne and Vito came in Nick smiled "hey guys its been a while" he said softly. Paul took his hand off Maxs shoulder and looked at the couple

(I'm not really sure what happened to Roxas. Fox did not post in a while . On the other hand Ember is now at the kidnappers base as is max. Max was caught and is now hypnotized and manipulated into attacking Ember if Ember attacks the group. And as of right now Embers parents just came into the room )

She regained her strength and quickly followed Max's scent back. She noticed more people, so she watched through a broken window, and listened quietly. Max! Oh max! she though holding back tears. what have they don to you? Why did you have to go back!? she thought wiping her eyes. She was still badly bruised but she was not leaving for anything now. Max needed her, she could tell.

D picked her up again. "Fine I'll put you inside." He grumbled and went up to the house. He opened the door and went inside, carefully putting her on a couch.

Jess coughed a bit as she laid slightly flopped over one of D's arms. She kept silent as he brought her inside, and she just kinda flopped on the couch where he put her.
