Maxs father jumps but does not drop the peices. He glared at the fox "I figured you'd come around sooner or later boy" he said somehow knowing the fox was Roxas "that d**n brat wanted you to get the oicture back didn't he?" He added smirking. He sighed "well to bad for you looks like you won't be getting the peices" with that he dumped them in the trash can beside maxs desk and lit them on fire with a match. He glared at the fox "your father is John right? Well he just so happens to be coming over for the game tomorrow. Would you like me to tell him anything for you?" He taunted

Roxas
His eyes grew wide, "Yeah, tell the bit** that he is just like you, cold hearted and careless." he said as he shifted into his original form. he grabbed the trash can and jumped out the window and began to run back to the girl's house. He grasped the pieces in is hand and stopped them from burning. He ran and opened the door and slammed it shut behind him, panting from running.

The older male just chuckled and watched the boy run back to the house. He reached into his pocket and took out the real picture peices smirking. He taped each peice back together and stared at it blankly.
(Oh snap. What is this man? He is one step ahead of them!?!)

Max jumped when he heared the door slam but he remained silent.

Morag watches the fox dissapear and then the man, hatred bubbles in his eyes as he watches from the window. Energy sparks on his skin as he watches what happened. Had Roxas just been lied too?

"I'll be back." says Morag and he follows at an obsure distance after the Fox, Roxas. The young man-creature is mostly silent on his feet, hating the limp the other harbors. And he wouldnt hurt his own kind. He watches through the window.

Jessica looks up, and she nods slightly, not seeming to really hear him. Then she remembers what happened last time he left her. She whimpers, and the voice comes back. That's right, Princess of Shadows. Come now, let's see the true you. She snarls, then that change sweeps over her again. She laughs that cold winter wind laugh, her warm eyes now cold as ice. She slips off into the trees.

"Perhaps, but don't hold your breath." He grinned, and a green box appeared around him. He waved goodbye, then dissapeared, the ruby tucked in his pocket.

Jess looked at the man, despite the slight attitude she was beginning to actually like him. She sighed softly a bit, nodding then waving and staring at the ground. She fingered the Sapphire and floated along.

Hmm...wonder if we could have these gems have some kind of connection. Like, they glow and call to each other))

He dumped the ripped pieces on the floor. He quickly held them all in one hand and squeezed tight. He unwrapped his hand and made sure the picture was whole, it was. He handed to Max and wasn't to sure if it was the picture he had wanted back.

Max looked at the picture. It was the same picture but something was a bit off about it but max smiled "thank you" he said softly and looked at the picture again. Even though it was a copy he was thankful to have it. It may not have been the origional and it may have been on a different kind of photo paper but it was still a picture of his family. It may be different but he was sure it would have the same effect as the origional.

Maxs father burned the original picture smirking slightly as if he knew something (hint the picture may not be what it seems)
(I just thought of a crazy idea! What if Maxs dad was one of the kidnappers? It would exsplain why he does not seem to be surprised when a person shifts and it would exsplain how he knows who the person is even in their different form. Although he would make sure no one knows its him because he would have worn a mask when around the kidnapped subject!)(I gtg )

He smiled and collapsed on the floor exhausted. He wondered if the guy from earlier followed him all the way here from Max's house.
