Jess sighed softly as she saw Jay stop moving a moment to glare at her and then notice the collar in her hands. And then he snarled and redoubled his efforts, and she growled herself and managed to get it on him, though she got scratches in the process. It took a little bit for it to take effect, but then he stopped and slumped against Helgrind, as his eyes began to clear.

Garm smiled a little. "Because I was bored so I learned how to be the other mask colors. I only have one true color but I can pass for almost any of them." he said softly.

Helgrind groaned a bit as Jay redoubled his efforts to escape, his leg beginning to tremble a little as soon as Jay went limp his leg gave out and he ended up falling to the ground, pulling Jay with him. He didn't let go of Jay until he was sure that he had calmed down and wouldn't attack again.

Jess sighed softly with relief when Jay finally ceased to struggle, snarl, and all the other such things he'd been trying at. She looked at Helgrind with concern and asked "You gonna be okay?" Then she looked back at the two sleeping boys, making sure they hadn't noticed anything. She said "You have to get him to talk, I'm gonna go make sure the doc is okay. Have fun and good luck with that." Jay blinked slowly as his eyes continued to clear of the wild haunted look, but that was replaced with a slightly different sort of haunted look.

Helgrind nodded gently to Jess. "Thank you." he said softly before turning his attention to Jay. "Jay..?" he asked cautiously, wondering if he was back to normal yet.

Jay whined softly and his body shook slightly as he began to regain a conscious state of mind and knowing what was going on around him. He shook his head and looked back at Hel. "Hel...grind?"

David smiled gently at her before glancing at his side as it throbbed a bit. he sighed silently before yawning a little, getting sleepy.
