Max smiled a little before going and grabbing a blanket, softly wrapping it around here. "Come on, you can warm in front of the fire place." he said softly.

Max smiled at her and nodded. he paused when he thought he heard something but shook it off. "So, what were you doing in this part of town anyway? not really the best place for a beautiful woman like you." he said.

~Meanwhile, upstairs.~
Talos grunted quietly as he finally reached the opened window. he crawled carefully into the house, making sure to not make a sound. he breathed a soft sigh of relief when he heard that Max was distracted. he carefully made his way to the file cabinet, freezing as one of the floor boards squeaked. he relaxed a bit when Max continued to talk to Megan.

Megan looked up. "Could you sit next to me for more heat?" she asked.

Max nodded softly and sat by her. "Of course." he said gently.

Lila looked up at him and nodded she got up and sighed "maybe we should go home"she said softly and rubbed the back of her neck

David sighed softly. "You sure? I'm fine with staying if you want to." he said softly.

Lila nodded and bit her lip "lets go pick Remus up and go home"she whispered gently and picked up her shoes "you need to relax for a while"she said

David sighed softly and bowed his head a little before nodding. "As you wish." he said softly.
