"My back is killing me." He said to himself

My eyes flickered between the two of them. Please do not fight again.. I think. I watched Emily for a moment, and I noticed her tense up a little.

Emily held her forehead. "It's too late for this." She turned towards Dane and Mathew and nodded gratefully.
"We'll talk about this tomorrow. Good evening to you."

Dane started walking back home and Mathew was following close behind

"G-good evening, Emily & company," I say softly. I sniffed, my skin chilling in the cold.

Emily gave Es a small smile as she walked away.
She held her sword in one hand and hugged herself with the other. She shivered once more. "Many thanks, you two. Who knows how wrong that situation could have gone."

"You welcome." he said

I watched them three walk away leisurely, and I got a lonely feeling in my chest. I started humming quietly once again.

She smiled. She'd been doing a lot of that lately, and it was a heartwarming familiar feeling. She held her sword out straight in front of her. "Peculiar how I have but recently received this sword and it already feels like an extension of myself."

He pulled out his bow and looked at it. "It sure does." He said

Mathew~
He held his book out in front of himself. "Cant complain with that." He said
