*A Knock At The Door To Darkness* (old form)

I run back inside the house, grab a pillow and a bed sheet, and lay them down on the stone outside. "Maybe this will help me sleep," I murmur to myself. I lay down on the sheet, tuck my legs to my chest, and listen to people inside the other houses talk. The sensitive hearing I acquired from my mother made it overly easy to eavesdrop on people without even trying to. I heard Emily's voice, and two other voices that I had not heard yet.

I dashed through the village full speed. I had gotten alot of meat and 2 levels from this hunting expedition I dashed to my house and nearly crashed into Esmerelda as she was outside

I was just about to fall asleep to all the people talking when someone's foot jammed into my back. "Ow, watch it..." I groan and turn over to see Zed standing over me. "Scratch that, sorry. What were you doing?"

I pulled up the game menu and opened my inventory to show her all of the food "look at all of it!"

At his head turning, Emily jumped up, nearly dropping her bowl. She quickly laced up her sleeping gown and turned red. "I am terribly sorry to wake you! I-I just needed to return this to the kitchen quarters!"

"F-fresh meat?" I say with a slight stutter. I was not used to seeing freshly killed things. "Yum..." Gulping, I covered my mouth with my sleeve.

"I know it looks disgusting now but if we cook it, it will sustain us. Plus I'm level 5 now"

I nodded. "I just don't see that kind of thing often. I can't cook," I add with a smirk. "I hope you can cook."

History: Him and his small family of 3 lived in Denver, Colorado their whole life. When he was 35, his wife, Louise, died of stage 3 breast cancer. He was forced to raise their little daughter on his own after that, but he took
it quite well and was an excellent parent to her.
Personality: Kody can be very childish, and he believes in all sorts of class & urban legends.
Hidden secrets: He sometimes calls his daughter "Louise", after his late wife.
Weaknesses: Kody is very scared of the dark, and, like all fathers, he is afraid of his daughter growing up.
