Peter smiled, enamored with her beauty and the way the mask had picked up her natural features and enhanced all the rest. The mask made her glow like a gold plated angel. “A little more revealing than mine but I don’t think they quite know who their own wolves are yet…” he smirked trying to distract himself from his own thoughts. He so badly wanted to kiss her but it was highly innapropriate and probably not safe… she would be a weakness of his at that point, and a target of the Denalei wolves.
“Hey, lets get going, I’ll buy… need lots of sleep before tomorrow, big day and all,” he said pulling out his wallet and trying to change the subject quickly.

“You’re quite welcome,”Jackson smiled at the girl, leaning in and kissing her cheek he raised his mask to his face. ”I’ll be looking for you,” he laughed. Hoping she had gotten a good enough glance at his mask, his own eyes had scanned over her dress, she was quite lovely for a denalei wolf… and now he knew the dress to look forward. ”See you then, Selne and your beautiful new dress.” he called to her as he walked out the door. Getting into his car he shook his head at her gullibility, reaching for his phone he texted his girlfriend reluctantly,
TXT TO: “MY BEAUTIFUL ROSE”:
Babe, don’t be mad. I have a plan but it requires me going to the dance with a Denalei. Love you.

Hitting the sleep button on his phone he smiled at the text he sent. Not only was he pleased with his geniuses, he was smiling at the name he had for his girlfriend in his phone. Suddenly a warmth overcame the boy as he thought back to the day they met and the day he got her number.

Jackson had just been kicked out of Denalei preparatory, his mother was furious as it was only the second day of school. He was expelled for violence on the football field and trying to make humans bow to him as his servants, along with a few other technicalities. Jax had thought his escapades had been hilarious, but the headmaster had not thought the same thing, nor did the old alpha, Ashton Malcom and his brooding beta, Whisper Cavanah. Whisper was the one who had supervised his move out, but as jax decided to take his sweet time, eventually the beta had packed Jackson’s bags himself and tossed them onto the front steps of the school.
Enraged with Whisper, Jackson shifted in the middle of the school’s entrance and started a brawl with the beta. Almost $10,000 of damage was inflicted because of the two’s fight and it would have been more if Whisper hadn’t taken a sucker bite to his scruff. Which is probably why wolves weren’t allowed to shift indoors anymore… Whisper dragged Jackson out of the school that day, like a pup on his back, tail between his legs. Jackson was mocked and ridiculed, he knew it was a natural reflex but the humans did not. Fed up, Jackson left his belongings on the steps of Denalei and stalked his way to the Rickshaw campus where the headmaster praised his attitudes and behaviors, he took him in and showed him how a real pack was supposed to operate. Based on power.
In the midst of his first day at Rickshaw, so much had gone on it was all a blur. Not only had he lost all of his belongings, he was at a new school, with new faces, no friends and no family to support him. Just the headmaster and he had carried him far all on his first day. Before the first class started, the headmaster warmly invited Jackson into the office and sitting in the chair next to the empty one was a large, muscular male. The alpha he presumed. Cautiously sitting next to the boy Jackson looked to the headmaster and back to the boy, he had been much larger than Jackson and much deadlier, or so he had thought before.
“Jackson, It’s my pleasure to introduce you to your Alpha, Peter. ” the headmaster said, sitting on the desk in front of him. Peter smirked and held his hand out to Jackson, though he couldn’t tell if he should shake it or not, he had no idea what kind of guy this was. For all he knew, Peter could break his hand without warning.
”Nice to meet you,” the alpha said in a gruff voice. Jackson could tell the boy was tired for some reason, must have been hard keeping everyone in barking order.
”Now, the reason I have called you into the office is simple. Peter has been outnumber from pack wolves to members of the pack hierarchy. He needs a Beta and you need respect, do you not?” he asked bluntly. ‘Man this guy doesn’t beat around the bush…’ Jackson thought with a smirk. It was true, Jackson wanted respect and power more than anything, so with a curt nod, he accepted it.
The boy’s were dismissed on good terms and Peter wished him a good first day before embarking on his own class schedule. Looking down to his watch, Jackson realized he would be late for class, and as beta of the pack, he now had to hold an example. Running to class, Jackson disregaurded the need for paper and pencils, he could just borrow from others for all he knew. He hadn’t been Beta before, who knew what he could command and demand.
Waltzing into the room, the blonde boy scanned the room. The professor had been writing on the board and paid no attention to his entrance. A few students turned their heads to see who had come in so late, as usual but he didn’t care. Head up, chest out, the boy confidently walked to the front left corner of the room and scanned the face. Then. He spotted her. He didn’t know he name but he did know she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Dark brown hair cascading down past her shoulders, her soft luminescent skin and eyes that could have seen into his soul the second she wanted them to. Blue like the icy cold his heart once was, he looked into her eyes, one eyebrow raised and felt that heart of ice melting inside him.
Noticing there were boys on each side of her, Jackson cracked his fingers and walked over to her right side and grabbed the boy by the collar, twisting the shirt around and up so that his fists had a good grip. Lifting the boy out of his seat, he shoved him to the front of the room and threw his stuff at him. Sitting down as if nothing happened, Jackson listened to the lecture tentatively, trying not to laugh as the boy gathered his things and moved to the back of the room. After about ten minutes of sitting next to the Angel that had entranced him, he leaned over to her, his arms crossed and elbows resting on her desk.
”Hey, any chance you could help a Beta out with a pen and paper?” he whispered, his dark blue eyes smoldering with his half smile.
And that’s all how it started, it did take some trial and error of course. A few slaps across the face to Jackson and a little ignoring moody behavior but other then that they were meant to be. Two halves of a whole.
Starting his car, Jackson drove back to campus and got ready to turn in for the night.

When Adrian waved to me, I gave a small wave back. As he walked towards me, I shyly backed away. "Oh, it's nothing really.. I just.. Can't sleep...", I responded, stuttering. Watching him I started to blush, looking away.
