Jane smiled and looked around. "Jade Town, huh? Tell me about this place. What's it like?"

Darken grunted his normal, "Hn." again and he walked into the town. Everything has a warm and happy aura... But underneath that is something dark... Darken thought to himself and glanced around.

"Jade Town is so wonderful! Everyone is nice and everyone is treated fairly!" Said Olive.

Jane smiled. "Wow! It sounds perfect here! There has to be a catch. What is it?"

Lyra had a strange feeling about Paul. She wanted to talk to some of the other people who had come to the town that day. She decided to talk to Jane once she was done her conversation. She waited patiently. While observing the surroundings, she noticed there was not a single animal inside the walls. Not even a squirrel...

Jane smiled. "Ok? You said that already. What's the catch? There has to be something wrong with this place?"

(No, they look perfectly like humans. All they are doing is acting very strange, and something has happened to Paul.)
"What makes you say that? Jade Town is so wonderful! Everyone is nice and everyone is treated fairly!" Olive said again.
"I need to go water my vegetables! See you soon!"

Once she was gone, Lyra walked over to Jane. "I couldn't help but hear that conversation. Don't you think the townsfolk are a little strange?"

Darken huffed and swung his large scaled tail back and forth. Something is definitely wrong here. He thought and glanced at all the happiness. I don't know why I even entered this place. Darken glanced around, his slitted eyes narrowing.

"And something has happened to that man, Paul. I think he was normal, like us, but he was changed. He tried to tell me something, but couldn't before he was taken to the mayor."
