Hyde shrugged ''we're not sure we found him trying to eat a boot on the street..'' He answered before pulling the small Hunter off of the female's bangs and dropping him back in the pouch, David wiggled around in protest as he was picked up by the back of his hoodie as he clawed at the air, he finally calmed down when he felt the warmth inside the pouch, David was surprisingly small for a 5 year old having only the top of his head show in the small pouch.

Anna smoothed out her hair, determined not to let them see that she was handicapped. She watched the small form of David wiggle around until he calmed down. She propped herself up against the post for a moment before finally saying, "It was nice to talk to you guys, but I really need to get going." It was getting dark exceptionally fast, and she knew she had to find somewhere safe to get some sleep unless she wanted to be some zombie's next meal.

Hyde nodded in understanding ''Hold on a second..'' he commanded before climbing to the top of ad post and looking around he spotted the red door that the humans called a 'safe house'. The hunter nodded to himself before jumping back down again ''The Safe house is rather far from here'' he simply stated, crossing his arms. ''I'm not taking you there unless you do something for me..'' he said rather casually as a smirk spread across his face knowing she'd have no choice but to help him as the sun was just about gone.

Anna stood, but didn't take a step away from where she was sitting. She watched the hunter curiously with her arms crossed over her chest, feeling the cool metal of her cousin's dog tag press against her forearm. Her left hand still held up the ice pack to her lip, not wanting it to swell although it wouldn't be a problem if it did. Just an annoyance. She perked up at the word Safe House, until it was like a kick to the stomach when he asked for a favor. "Name it."

Hyde's smirk turned into a smile as she complied ''Take David with you..'' he simply said ''1. He's annoying and 2. When he grows up i'm sure he'll help you out, after all he seems to enjoy your company.'' He explained as he pulled out the small Hunter-Smoker. David flinched slightly as the cold concrete touched the palms of his hands, he walked up to the survivor like an animal before climbing up her back to her hair yet again. Hyde mentally slapped himself forgetting the most important thing for the survivor ''Okay let's go..'' he muttered grabbing the survivor by her arm and throwing her on his shoulder again ''David also helps with those..medkit..things..he seems to find them all the time without problem..'' he finished as he jumped from the roof to the floor bellow and ran past the hoard of common infected and up the stairs of the safe house door. Hyde dropped the survivor on her two feet in front of the door. The hunter nodded before running to heck knows where.

She was about to argue, not liking the idea of babysitting an infected for him, but she had to get to the Safe Room if she wanted to survive the night. With a frustrated sigh she complied and wrapped her other arm around him to keep from falling off as she felt the pull of her hair again. "I hate you so much right now," Anna muttered before shutting her eyes when they jumped, still finding it uneasy to be on his back when he jumped from building to building. When he dropped her off, she watched him run off before she reached behind her to get David away from her hair. "I guess we're going to have to deal with each other, then.." With that, she popped open the Safe Room and stepped inside before closing it behind her and locking it tight, listening to the deadbolt clink. She sat David down and soon went to whatever items were left inside; molotovs, some extra ammunition. Perfect.

David watched from where he was sat before sniffing the air and opening a window inside the safe house and jumping outside into the hoard before returning ten minuets later with a medkit held tightly in his hand and a dead mouse inside his mouth. David quietly approached the survivor, he jumped up to cling onto the table since he was to small to reach it normally.

Anna was barely concerned at the sudden disappearance of David, giving her best guess that he could take care of himself if he really had to. She soon brought out her shotgun and took the time to clean it, removing the mess of blood from close encounters. The memories swarmed around her head, but she took care to not dwell on them unless she wanted to curl up in the corner and not get any sleep. With a sighed, she placed the shotgun down on the table as she heard something from the window and she let out a startled cry when David had jumped at the table, and it took everything not to just pull out her pistol and let loose. Instead, she told herself to calm down when she saw the medkit and she narrowed her eyes, wondering where on earth he had found that. She thanked him for it none the less before noticing the mouse as she said, "You really shouldn't be eating that, David, if it's been dead for a while."

When David finally managed to scramble onto the table he looked down at the mouse disappointed in the lack of a meal, he pushed it away from him with disgust at the thought ''But i'm hungry..'' he groaned in only a way a little child could manage, David whimpered slightly as he itched his head with his foot out of self conciousness.

Anna swatted the dead mouse away, not wanting it to be close enough for her to get sick. The thought almost made her laugh, thinking that she would die of a disease instead of a zombie. She frowned at the small whine before rummaging through her backpack and pulling out a Slim Jim. She peeled of the plastic and broke it in two before offering one half of it to David. "It's really good, I swear. Much better then dead mice," she said, before taking a bite of her half.
